Some interesting options at forward in the UFA market. Filip Forsberg on a wing with either Nico or Jack would look really nice. Ondrej Palat would be a great get, that veteran depth piece that knows how to win and can still contribute.

The goaltending situation in Florida is worth keeping an eye on, Spencer Knight has taken the reigns there. 4 years, $10 per left for Bob, if they are money I might consider it.

Also, they haven't said anything officially but reading between the lines of everything Fitz has said Subban will be back. He's not the worst player but I'd much rather sign a Kulikov type, non flashy vet or let the kids play. I feel like that money can be better spent elsewhere.

I'm fine with Subban coming back but no where near costly IMO.... if so, gotta be a 1yr deal

All of the rumored wingers going to us are super tiny. Which I could be ok with assuming every other player we bring in is a killer. We will get bullied out of the playoffs if all our players are under 6 foot and Mike's Wood is our heavy hitter.

Two other free agents I'd happily take are Valerie Nichuskin and Vincent Trocheck
Both fill the grit need and can provide some offense as well.

Johnny G - the excitement behind it says go for it but realistically will he be a redundant of what we have here.... so yea i can see a pass but if we did, would not be mad i think.

Kakko - actually, if he leave, I'd sign his ass up quickly and hope for a true reclamation project or a 2nd chance on our hands. f it, what do we have to lose?

Kakko we would have to trade for and I can't justify giving the Rangers assets. Johnny G I think this season was his peak, I think he goes back to being inconsistent with us.

Kakko a rfa no? idk where the NYR view him as anymore.. most likely stays or goes to highest bidder... definitely not trying to enter any bidding war, willing to buy low!
