FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced that they have signed DL Bill Murray to a future contract.
Murray, 24, originally joined New England as a rookie free agent out of William & Mary on May 5, 2020 and spent the last two seasons on the practice squad. The 6-foot-4, 265-pounder was a two-year letter winner and served as a team captain as a senior.

Expect Bill to trade out of the first round. He's barely got enough cap space o sign the six picks the Patriots have.

Just about all of the top salaries are 2021 free agent signings.

My question is: "Who sits with Mac after he comes off the field and goes over the plays and things he did right/wrong?" That has to be addressed as well

Mike Reiss has been around the Patriots for at least the past twenty years. he's not prone to writing crap.

This morning he's saying that the Patriots must move people to create enough cap space to re-sign critical players.

He says that N'Keal Harry and jaJuan williams are gone and that Shaq Mason's $10+ cap hit with have to be restructured or moved,

He also thinks that Judon and H. Henry will be restructured and extended.

Last but not least, don't be totally shocke to see Josh do BB a favor and trade for Nelson Agholor and bring him back to LV.

Good with most of that.

I'd be great with Agholor going to LV.

And I'd be ecstatic to see Harry gone.

McD would only want Harry if he felt the guy was a better fit in LV than he was in NE.

Jameson Williams.

If Bill takes a WR in the first, it will be the one who's had knee issues.
I still think trade the first @ 21 for a later round 1st and third or fourth, then trade that late round first for another one or two picks. I really want to build draft capital this year and next in an effort to continue the rebuild and manipulate the cap

Draft picks after 15 usually are not impact players. There are certainly a lot of exceptions.
Once you get past 15, it is typically just as reliable in the 2nd round.
Trade a 1st for 2 2nds. Especially if Bill is hunting WR's in the bargain bin.

We took a bargain in Barmore. Great pick Bill.
We took a "bargain" in Harry, watcha thinking Bill?

He thought "and I'll sign that Meyers kid as a hedge"...
