Yeah....Utah or bust at this point
.....as of now.

Things can fall apart for other teams.

Bad start, bad injury and they could decide to blow it up.

Problem is: If you wait to see, Utah might deal the guys you like.

I really don't fancy the Suns landing Bogdanovic.

But, maybe you could scoop Crowder?

Except, you can't match his contract without using Westbrook.

So, might as well just get the better player.

@Gman @Wamu

Shit sammiches keep coming.

Williams having surgery.

Same knee, not great.

Howard > Aldridge.... as a replacement.. imo

Yeah saw that a little bit ago. Dammit. My question is since he obviously needs surgery why didn't he get it taken care of at the beginning of summer?

Not to worry though. The Celtics have GOATum. I'm just gonna incorrectly say right now he'll win MVP over Embiid by the smallest margin all time. Like by 17 votes. The number of titles the Celtics have.

And when is it ever wrong or outta line for a Celtics fan to take a shot about those cheesesteak eating a-holes in Philly? :heh:

Apparently, they hoped simple rest during the off-season would heal the matter... unfortunately, that plan didn't work out.

---------

RWIII should sit out as long as needs and then maybe a little longer during the regular season... the only thing that matters is having him back healthy towards the end and ready for a post-season run.

Thanks for the explanation about the timing of the surgery.

I agree he should sit out as long as need. Better to have him 100% for later in the season.

Also be Judy had surgery a few months ago

Knee needed time to heal

Like Gman said no need to play him until he's fully recovered. It could have been a much worse knee surgery with a longer recovery time. So at least that's kind of a positive thing.

Why anybody would sign Howard to play basketball is a bit of stretch. The dude is pushing 37 and def has lost a step or two.

Had no idea Embiid playing for team France starting next year. We better bring our best in 2024
Bums me out. I don’t want Mr Glass anywhere near non-Sixers competitive basketball. Knowing Embiid this is just a troll to steal Gobert’s job haha.

He can still play 15mpg or so as a backup.....he had his moments last season with the Lakers.
