Whiteside continues to perform well analytically
It’s just a matter of time until we hear that someone went off the deep end due to analytics.

Yeah I mean he an end of bench guy at best. Cavs replaced him with Robin Lopez. That says it all lolLooks like a big Myles Turner.
But, about as stiff as Boban.
* hyperbole *
Clippers gonna play small a ton of the time with Batum/Morris at the 5.
But, we need another big.
So, I'm not opposed to taking a flyer on a kid like this.
But, he's not a fit like Hartenstien.
Wonder what KPJ gets if they extend him, personally I wouldn’t. Too many red flags.Apparently, something came up in his medical that scared teams.
They got a steal if his knees hold up.
I like TyTy in Houston too.
I don't see KPJ as a point guard.
Even if he is, would you extend him?
He has issues.
Money only magnifies that.
Yep.But Westbrook last year could NOT make lay-ups and missed a number of dunks wide open.
Houston feels the same way.Wonder what KPJ gets if they extend him, personally I wouldn’t. Too many red flags.
The Mavs have been drafting pretty well. They still need another star next to Luka though and fit matters.

Yep.
The way Ham talks, he wants to turn Westbrook into the mitten, Gary Payton Jr,.
I'm not sure he's capable, or willing, to be that.
But, it's a good plan.
An extension now limits the maneuverability of the team to get better next summer. That locks in his cap value (likely at max) and restricts the projected cap space post Westbrook (if the Nets refuse to trade Kyrie to the Lakers). Any opportunity for him to take less to sign that key FA is gone.If that was true he would have already signed an extension imo
I actually think he will end up back in CLE if i was to place a bet

They would bring in Irving as a FA and go shopping for some more groceries.
Does Irving have any interest in LA without Lebron? Debatable, and debatable vice versa,
They loved him when he was there, hated him when he left and now want him back? Not sure where folks are getting this Lebron wants to return to Cleveland stuff. I don't remember seeing or hearing that anywhere else.
You don't bring Lebron in without the expectation of taking his input and and keeping him as long as possible.Yeah, at this point fuck him.
I take it you haven't looked at next year's FA crop...Honestly, while I like having Lebron on the team, it wouldn't bother me all that much if he did leave. The cap space created by him and Westbrook leaving could put a really nice, young roster around AD.

Clippers Make Offer To Moses Brown
Brown became an unrestricted free agent when the Cavaliers didn't extend a qualifying offer.www.hoopsrumors.com
Your boys looking for the next hartstein
even worse than sign Jordan...he wanted them to deal the Brooklyn pick in a package for Jordan.Lebron is as good as gone from LA imo. He did the same thing in Cle in his last year. It's not like he is some genius, he has a proven track record of blowing out of teams when they turn sour. Cleveland decided to keep their draft picks vs at the time sign Deandre Jordan who Lebron was pushing for hard. It was the correct move imo.
The Lakers smartest move would be to trade Lebron now. AD is young, load up on some picks and cap space. The Cavs should have also tried to trade Lebron in his last year, but for some reason teams think keeping him when the writing is on the wall is the smart decision lol
As an owner listening to Lebron must be annoying. Unlike Curry who just shows up and plays, Lebron always desperately needs new players on his team to "win"
It's not. He wants Russ to be an active defender first and foremost. That might last a month at most before he reverts IMO.If we do keep RW I hope Ham's "plan" is to bring RW off the bench.
And I really don't want to keep him.
I take it you haven't looked at next year's FA crop...
