GS thinking about trading for KD is just plain silly. They just won the title and have it pretty good right now. You really want to trade a young core that can set you up for the future and have no depth? Or risk bringing him in and rocking the locker room and causing a divide and wanting another trade in a few seasons?

They don't need him.

With the clippers getting everyone back plus the lakers getting kyrie for Russ?

Yes.

They can make another 3-4 peat

Idk honestly…Lebron definitely wants back in CLE eventually, whether that is next year or later, it will happen. I really do think Windhorst is right. No extension for LeVert, if Sexton takes the QO or take a 1 and 1 with a team option something like that, they are set up to go after him. They need a wing and he fits the mold. They definitely would pursue him and he would definitely consider it. If Kyrie isn’t on LA by next offseason and the Lakers keep falling short, don’t be surprised.

The #1 goal for him is playing with his son but until that is possible…it’s winning. He played in CLE while earning money didn’t he? Winning is still everything, don’t be confused. With LA without assets or good pieces and CLE with basically the opposite situation right now…it could happen.

It's the same thing that happened when he was in Miami. I would argue the Cavs pieces now are vastly superior this time vs with Kyrie. Garland, Sexton, Allen, Mobely is way better than what they had last time he came back and the 45 win season confirms that.

There are a lot of trade pieces. If Lebron comes back I would love to see them go after KD as well. Gives lebron one more chance at catching Jordan.

Their bench will be bare. They will have no depth.

Steph, Klay, KD or Dray gets hurt and they're fucked.

No.

Kyrie wants the team that will offer him a max.

All of the other teams on his list could beat the Lakers shit offer.

But, they chose not to blowup their roster for a malcontent.

If they were, that is where he would say he wants to go.

Lakers aren't his choice, they are his only option.

Also, you shouldn't give a shit why he wants to come.

You should just be happy to.get him.

Dude is talented and his skills are still top notch!

lol

The Lakers are Kyries only option and Kyrie might be their only option for getting rid of Westbrook and getting back a player that can make them contenders.

Sounds like they are destined for each other.

If we do keep RW I hope Ham's "plan" is to bring RW off the bench.

And I really don't want to keep him.

Your boys looking for the next hartstein
Good player for little playing time, he played well. He was backup center when CLE had a ton of injuries and I love his effort

He's pimping the shit out of Westbrook. It might be that he's trying to rehabilitate his image enough to help the Lakers get him moved.

But he's starting to get me curious about what his plan might be.

Yeah, true to both. LOL.

People are saying Ham is a really smart guy and good basketball mind.

Here’s the plan, Russ if you shoot it from over 15 ft you won’t ever get off the bench again. If he had been told that 10 years ago people are looking at him much differently now.

His plan is pray and hope he stops being a bonehead and develops a Klay stroke this season lol

Looks like a big Myles Turner.

But, about as stiff as Boban.

* hyperbole *

Clippers gonna play small a ton of the time with Batum/Morris at the 5.

But, we need another big.

So, I'm not opposed to taking a flyer on a kid like this.

But, he's not a fit like Hartenstien.

Ham is a really good hire and we haven't even seen what he can do with the X's and O's.

People forget that there is a psychological aspect of the job.

You have to be able to manage strong personalities and huge egos.

That's what elevates Phil Jackson to Rushmore status.

In the event that a deal doesn't get done by training camp, it's good for Westbrook to think he has a ally.

But Westbrook last year could NOT make lay-ups and missed a number of dunks wide open.

I loved that move by the mavs

I really thought the warriors or heat we’re gonna take him and culturize them into a star
Apparently, something came up in his medical that scared teams.

They got a steal if his knees hold up.

I like TyTy in Houston too.

I don't see KPJ as a point guard.

Even if he is, would you extend him?

He has issues.

Money only magnifies that.
