What about Harkless?

Not sure if OKC will release him.

But, they have 18 contracts.

Also, not sure Jeanie thinks he's worth using the 15 th spot, considering it will actually cost them 7 mil with luxury tax payments, even if you give him the minimum.

But, he fits.

Loved him with the Clippers.
We need another wing and I would like him more than Brown Jr.

I think it was Washington.

Can’t remember what they got back. Nothing good I am sure.

Randy foye and Mike Miller

Steph was the first player to get hyped up? Not sure exactly what you mean.

Was it the hype coming from a smaller school, is that what you mean?

If so I agree with that. BYU isn't a big time program.

I will say this though. I've enjoyed Steph's one of kind career. He's changed the game like few other have. And I hope he (along with Klay & Dray) all finish their careers with GS.
That type of scoring PG, at a smaller school.

Think of another player like Curry.

You really can't think of anyone before him that got more hype before being drafted?
Of course I can, Curry’s hype was warranted obviously.

Kid could ball, like I said. Anyone watching him could see it.

Hey, @thunderc

Correct me if I'm wrong, the Clippers only owe the Thunder 2 draft swaps in compensation for the George trade?

The other pick comes from Miami?

@bksballer89 ?

I think it's top 14 protected?

If they don't like what they see from Brown in camp, I can see them going after Myles Turner.

Agreed.

However, Flynn wasn’t knocking doors down with his mechanics. Flynn was another dribble drive PG, that’s why Minnesota drafted TWO PGS in the lottery.

Talk about lacking the optimistic side of everything.

Right.

Flynn had a very different skill set of course.

His pathway to success was built around his athleticism. Whether they care to admit it or not, I guarantee Minnesota wasn’t the only team who would have taken Flynn over Curry.

There was a time not so long ago when highly skilled, less athletic players just weren’t taken ahead of more raw super athletes like Flynn.

Curry changed that.

Prospects are viewed differently today because of Curry and how he has changed NBA basketball.

This is really odd. All I said was Jimmer peaked in college without ever comparing him to anyone currently in the league.

What you have brought up has nothing to do with what I was originally saying.

And I don't disagree with what you're saying. But I wasn't talking about that.

@thunderc

Yeah, unless the Clippers go to complete shit in 2023 or 2025, we might be done.

Why would you swap picks unless we finished behind you?

ETA: Yeah, clearly I can't read.

2024 and 2026.

But, we will have a pick in 2023 and 2025.

The L.A. Clippers have acquired six-time NBA All-Star Paul George from the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, forward Danilo Gallinari and the Clippers’ first round draft picks in 2022, 2024 and 2026, along with two first-round choices via Miami (2021 and 2023), and OKC obtained the right to swap first-round picks in 2023 and 2025, it was announced today by President of Basketball Operations Lawrence Frank.

Curry was a straight shooting guard his first 2 seasons at Davidson.

They had a true PG (Jay Rich or something like that) and Curry played off ball.

The PG graduated and Curry played lead guard, but only for 1 year.

And playing at Davidson, there was only a very small sample of a few games on college tape with Curry playing PG against high major level competition, let alone future NBA prospects.

You were asking about Curry being overhyped, so I responded my guy.

He was also not really nba strong or considered and nba level athlete

And his ankles already had questions iirc
