Best big-man the Cavs have drafted since Daugherty. I like his game. Watching him his lone year at USC thought he had all the tools to be a good NBA player. But I didn't think he was going to be this good this young.
Fabulous comparison.

Thanks. And actually the Cavs could put a damn good all time team together.

@dtgold88

What do you think?

PG- Price
SG- Kyrie
SF- LeBron
PF- Mobley
C- Daugherty
Time being I'd put Love or Nance ahead of Mobley but he'll pass them eventually, IMO. Agree with the rest

Damn I wish I got to see Price play in this era with the 3 so much more prevalent.

I listed Mobley ahead of Nance & Love only based on expectation.

Great point about Price playing in today's game. And holy shit. I remember he was a good shooter. But didn't realize he has a career 3-point % of .402.

Yep.

LOL.

It funny you don't know, well you don't know much, but I listed Mobley based solely on expectation.

But go ahead and tell me Mobley doesn't have a great potential.

Except he'll be on the Lakers playing next to 50 year old Lebron by then. :heh:

I liked Terrell Brandon too.

Obviously, he's still behind Price and Kyrie.

Nance Sr over Mobley for now.

I did also side eye Kyrie for World B Free.

But, recency bias and a chip won out.

He's probably got the most upside of just about every player , until Wenbenbananasramass gets drafted.

With the caveat of expectations added, I 100% agree...I'm sure most would.

I assumed that's what you meant anyway.

Otherwise, it would be like Raptors fans listing Scottie Barnes over Chris Bosh.

Dude, his brother is no slouch either.

He needs some serious conditioning and player development.

But, I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up closer to the Gasol bros over the Antetokounmpo duo in Milwaukee.

.....as far as the gap in talent is concerned.

If Isiah works hard and doesn't depend on his last name to stay in the league, he can be a contributor in a year or two.

Not just a energy, emergency big like Thannasis.

Please, nobody @me thinking I'm saying he's Marc Gasol...lol

I know one thing for sure. Danny Ferry ain't making no all time Cavs team.

Yeah I based it all on what I think Mobley will turn into. He's got all the skills to be a special player.

I don't think they'll be quite the Gasol brothers (although I wouldn't necessarily rule it out), that's a really high bar.

But I agree with you that they are more likely to end up closer to the Gasol's than the Antetokounmpo's.

Their games are similar as well, with Evan being more finesse and skill like Pau and Isaiah being more of a banger like Marc.

All bullshit aside...

If this guy shot league average from 3, and stayed healthy, he'd be the GOAT.

You couldn't build a better all around player.
