He is in the conversation for 2nd best shooter of all time. He is clearly not better than his teammate, so he should be happy with 2nd regardless of performance last year.

This is a clear case of Scottie Pippen syndrome.

Great player. Tons of accomplishments. His contributions are relatively under-appreciated compared to Curry and KD.

So he is a bit salty about it.

And if we are being honest, most people would be too.
Dude, so many of these guys cry about their 2k ranking every year.

Klay is not an anomaly.

I think its a generational thing.

If 2K was a thing in the Jordan era, he would have been unbearable about it as well during his HOF speech, just like all the other petty shit he brought up....lol

Some of these guys act like their survival depends on a video game ranking.

Klay, KD etc.....complained on the net.

Matthews was just fucking ridiculous... Lol

Singh has some wild stories about being confronted by NBA players regarding the 2K ratings, including one that put him on the spot during Harrison Barnes’ wedding in 2017, where several NBA players were in attendance including Wesley Matthews who was upset about his player rating.

“[Matthews] found out that he was a 78 overall and he got pretty upset about it. He kept talking to Rick Carlisle about it,” said Singh via HoopsHype. “Well, Rick was the MC of Harrison’s reception. It got to the point that during the reception, in front of about 40 NBA players, Rick gets on the mic and says, ‘Ronnie, we have to address this rating thing right now. You need to come up here.’”

We’re talking about some of the most confident athletes in the world. Having a rating system that ranks them relative to their peers, even if it's just for a video game, gets in these guys’ heads easily.

I was wondering what was taking his buyout so long.

Hate to see this.

Probably he smartest move a Jordan owned team has made.

Pivoting to Rozier and not paying Kemba.

Cheap fucks did it on accident.

Per sources, the Pistons and Walker had agreed on a number, which was a few million less than what he’s owed. However, and this is just an *educated hunch,* Walker has yet to officially agree to the terms of the buyout because, well, a player usually takes a buyout when he’s sure that he can sign with another team and make up some of the money he gave back. So, if you read the tea leaves, it sounds like Walker is unsure that another team out there is interested in his services at this exact point in time. If that’s the case, Walker doesn’t have to take less money just to sit at home. Walker, instead, could force the Pistons to pay him everything he is owed, even if they just waive him on their own accord. To sum it all up in one sentence: It feels like Walker doesn’t have another team lined up right now and there is no point in him taking less money until he does.

Yeah, his days as a serious contributor are over.....once he is bought out, I could see a contender signing him as a 3rd string/emergency option.

If we’re talking a guy who is bought out and willing to take the minimum I would take Kemba to play the Shake Milton role of about 10-12 minutes a game. Go be Jamal Crawford bro.

Was his prime as short as I remember or did I just miss most of it because he played in Charlotte?

Dunno.

He got a 96.

After all his shit this Summer, Dude might really be that petulant.
He is. The Nets have 3 guys that are really mentally weak.

First sign of trouble and it could all go to Hell.....

Westbrook too.

If we didn't get Wall, Russ would have been good for the Clips IF HE COULD STAY IN HIS LANE.

We actually have the thing that the Lakers need to make his presence salvageable.

Shooting.

Again: These guys are roster killers for max money.

They are something entirely different for the minimum.....

....as complimentary pieces, not as guys who get more than 5-10 shots per game.

I loved him since his last Season in College.

The little engine that could.

What a magical season.

It looked hopeless and then kemba just willed them to 11 straight wins

The greatest tournament team in cbb history

Won a preseason tourney (easily)

Won the BET w/ 5 games in 5 days (never done before or since)

Won The Whole fucking thing
