1. Magic and Jordan are black.

2. Magic, Jordan and Bird were drafted by their super teams as was most of their Super Friends.

3. What does race have to do with any of this shit?

I can't speak for anyone else. But, the only things at irked me about the Heatles was that music video looking ass press conference with the not 1, not 2 not 3...etc Championship bravado and when they mocked Dirk for being sick.

They got their comeuppance for that .

So, I have no issue.

There are no asterisks on those championships.

3. What does race have to do with any of this shit?

I can't speak for anyone else. But, the only things at irked me about the Heatles was that music video looking ass press conference with the not 1, not 2 not 3...etc Championship bravado and when they mocked Dirk for being sick.

They got their comeuppance for that .

So, I have no issue.

Obviously I'm just some white dude but it irks me when race is needlessly injected into a conversation. It takes away from much more important topics where it belongs and is a worthwhile dialogue.

Very few organic teams these days.

The NBA is kinda making it impossible.

Unless you want to have a 400 mil payroll like the Dubs, oh can't keep all the guys you draft and develop.

At some point, probably in the next 3 years, the Griz, Raps and Cavs are gonna have some hard decisions to make.

Yep, it's just looks like a weird and not well thought out take. I'd like to hear a more detailed explanation of the race angle because as it stands, it looks like he is just trying to not take responsibility for his and his teammates behavior during that time.

2 of the 3 folks that he says don't get their titles questioned are black.

You could say that Magic was a black man taking charge of his own career when he got his coach fired.

You could also say that he was taking control of his own career and his own future when he signed a 25 year contract.

Was MJ not taking control of his career when he just up and decided to go play baseball for a couple of seasons, then turn around and come back?

I have no doubt that there are/were some folks whose reasons were race, but those are the same few and far between dipshits who don't watch the NBA because it's ''too black''.

I don't think any organic team has won the title in a long time. Even with the Bucks Holiday & Lopez weren't drafted by the team. There's probably more but I don't feel like looking at their roster from their title season right now.
