Nah, it has to be one of the bigs, so its Wilt or Shaq (if you're taling about playing as a unit on the floor at the same time).
That's what I figured. All time great lineup, why do you need 3 centers

Exactly. People don't understand the amount of time boxers put into the gym, and at a wider scope, MMA fighters in general. Tyson probably had mail forwarded to his boxing gym during his time. Hell, I'd even take Tyson (at his current age) right now over Lebron.

The huge disparity in height and reach is the only reason Lebron has a glimmer of a chance. Tyson is almost a foot shorter. Tyson's reach is 71", Lebron's is 84". As long as he's not hitting below the belt, Tyson would have to focus on body blows.

One reason I think these comparisons are silly is because of the rosters & time difference. That 98 bulls roster is built completely differently if they had to play in 2017 ish. Same goes for the Warriors. KD isn't on that team if they played in the 90s

That obviously helps Chicago A TON. Curry and Klay especially Curry having to survive with hand checks, you lay a finger on him in today's game and it's a foul.

Plus Jordan still got all the calls despite legal hand checks, so Klay is likely in foul trouble.

Because the Bullets gave up a ton of assets to trade for him when he was pretty clearly past prime.

Of course he got hurt and only played 7 games.
was it a ton of assets? I recall a 1st rounder. was there more?

Then whomever is guarding Jordan will be in foul trouble. Jordan and Pippen able to push around their guys, etc. It would be an interesting game, but certainly not a blow out by the Warriors.
Pippen on Klay. Good luck Klay plus Pippen was a better overall scorer than Klay, he could post up and drive better than Klay. They can throw Harper or MJ at Curry. Rodman on Dray. Good luck beating them by 20 with 90's rules. That would be suffocating defense.

I guess a MVP Finals Iggy is a nice backup option. The Dubs had depth but still their team thrived off perimeter shooting and illegal screens. With 90's rules, their offense would have be tinkered with. You aren't getting touch fouls called, Klay and Curry aren't guys that can play through contact. MJ and Pip could.
Now a Miami team with Wade and Bron is completely different, those guys could fight through contact and they had perimeter shooting.

Apparently BKN wants Smart too. He is extremely important to their defense. If they lose Brown, Smart and say Grant Williams + picks.
I just want the Cavs to get involved and be the winner of another Brooklyn deal when it comes to the players acquired

the time to go all in was 5 years ago...after choking away game 7
Truth be told that really was the only time this FO showed a pulse was after that season when they signed Encarnacion.

The #12 overall pick, which became Vitaly Potapenko (passing on Kobe, Peja, and Nash, all picked in succession after).

On 2nd thought yeah.....it's Wilt.

That was my thought, given that it we're talking about the version of Wilt that played with the Lakers. No longer the dominant scorer he once was, but still a very strong post presence.

Smart isn't close to what KD is.....a clear superstar but you can't give up Brown and Smart plus Grant Williams.....they went out and got depth because that was a weakness......does KD make the C's that much better without 3 key players?

What generation's rules are they playing under?

Sure, it makes a difference.

But if you were to put them in a time machine tell me that 1 team was significantly better than the other, I just can’t see the significantly better team being the Bulls.

Not saying I don’t think the ‘96 Bulls could win, they could. But if 1 team were to be comfortably better than the other I would think it would be GS.

Okay, not by todays standard.

But it was a first for a past prime vet and I think he only had 1 year on his contract.

Could be wrong on that.

They definitely paid a lot more than they ended up getting from Price. And it wasn’t like Price was the piece to put them over the top.
