I guess KD is fine with Irving being the reason he never wins again.Rumor: Kevin Durant wants to stay with Nets – without Kyrie Irving
Kevin Durant has publicly supported friend and teammate Kyrie Irving then requested a trade from the Nets – reportedly because he disliked how they treated Irving.nba.nbcsports.com
Where ya been?No matter who the Knicks get this off season, they will still suck
Who knows about any of these rumors. You can find one to support any inkling you may have lol. Nets aren't trading Durant, Nets are still trying to trade Durant, Durant wants to play with Kyrie, Durant doesn't want to play with Kyrie, etc etc.I guess KD is fine with Irving being the reason he never wins again.

He should ride it out in Brooklyn just this one year, with Kyrie and Simmons and the other pieces. Kyrie will be playing for another contract, and no more vaccine issues. Then when Kyrie leaves Brooklyn can try to bring in another #2 to play with KD.Who knows about any of these rumors. You can find one to support any inkling you may have lol. Truthfully, where is KD's best chance to win that isn't riding coattails again?
Is there a bigger pair of unknowns to rely upon than Kyrie and Simmons though? Durant's years are slipping away...He should ride it out in Brooklyn just this one year, with Kyrie and Simmons and the other pieces. If the Lakers had offered a pick or both the picks.....it would have been a done deal.lol
Didn't I say yesterday that the narrative aound all of that will change again before it's over?
Kyrie to the Lakers should start heating up again.
No one has everything ideal laid out for them. Like you said, where else could he go?Is there a bigger pair of unknowns to rely upon than Kyrie and Simmons though? Durant's years are slipping away...
If he told them that after what Irving did to the team the Nets likely would have brought in the psychiatrist. If KD really wanted to play with Irving.....wouldn't he have told the Nets to sign Irving long term?
Organizations listen to their star players.

He could have told them sign him long term or trade me.....he just said trade me so maybe our thinking of KD wanting to play with him is overblown. Maybe he wants out. And if they trade Irving, maybe he rescinds it and says he'll stay. Not always.
Especially if they don’t like the direction the stars are steering the ship.
And last year was very clearly untenable for Brooklyn brass.
Now, if Kyrie can redeem himself this year? Maybe Brooklyn resigns him.
But it is abundantly clear at this point that KD wants to play with Kyrie.
That won't be that easy.He should ride it out in Brooklyn just this one year, with Kyrie and Simmons and the other pieces. Kyrie will be playing for another contract, and no more vaccine issues. Then when Kyrie leaves Brooklyn can try to bring in another #2 to play with KD.
They already do, just saying KD should see what this one more year is like without the vaccine drama and Kyrie playing for his next deal. Nets should be contenders with what they have now. Next year KD can see what he wants to do when Kyrie leaves. That won't be that easy.
KD and Simmons would combine to take up 90 mill in cap space.

And I was addressing it won't be that easy to just bring in a #2 guy. There's something called a salary cap and they'd have KD and Simmons under contract with team options on Sharpe and Thomas.
