Holiday is 32 right now....
In 3 years....Steph will be 37 and CP will be collecting social security. Dame will be 35.In the West- at the point alone you have Murray, SGA, Lillard, Ja, McCollum, Curry, Paul.......
Getting to be an elite point guard is not easy.
out of point guards 25 or younger- where do you rate Maxey long term?Holiday is 32 right now....
This item is just an attempt to disarm all the chatter after they sat on opposite ends of the court in Vegas.lol
Guess they're gonna sing Kumbaya together too. lol
On tonight's episode of...As The NBA Turns...stay tuned! This item is just an attempt to disarm all the chatter after they sat on opposite ends of the court in Vegas.
Image repair and to get that next contract. Even he has to realize his time is getting short and he may not get a better opportunity than his current spot moving forward. Then how do you explain him taking less so they can make a trade and sign the FA's they did?
The only way Kyrie is a hero is if he lets the Lakers dump Westbrook, and that's likely to blow up in their face too. It's choosing one big risk over a known problem, like chasing a bad bet with more bad bets. The Lakers are in that position where it's tough to get any value out of Russ without greasing the wheels with picks, so they just need a way off of Russ that doesn't handicap their cap for years to come. Doubtful it happens though; at least one if not two picks will be that price.Wait…are we doing Kyrie the Anti/Vaxxer is a hero thing? Hold tight lemme pop some popcorn
the thing is- if they go in another direction with any long term money- I think the risk of LeBron leaving goes from a maybe to a likely. The only way Kyrie is a hero is if he lets the Lakers dump Westbrook, and that's likely to blow up in their face too. Kyrie only looks good when you're dealing with a worse situation. Even then, if one of these other options becomes realistic, the Lakers are probably better served to go in another direction.
@DJ? nothing? didnt expect anything. Sometimes you write shit before you think. not saying maxey isnt good and could be very good- but I am saying its gonna be rough for him to be special among a league with so much young talent- esp. at his position.I would prob. go:
Tier 1
1. Doncic
2. Morant
3. Cunningham
Tier 2
4. Young
5. Garland
6. La. Ball
Tier 3
7. Haliburton
8. SGA
9. D. Murray
10. SGA
11. J. Murray
12. Maxey
13. Fox
14. Suggs
15. Lo. Ball
we really have no clue what Suggs will be yet. Haliburton I could see making a jump to tier 2. You can re-arrange in tier 3 pretty easily.
Simmons is mentally weak and had his city and his coach doubting him, so he wanted out. It's a similar end result, but for completely different reasons. I'm not validating Simmons' actions either, but the only similarity between the two is the end result. Luckily for Harden, Simmons' hard stance gave Harden the out he wanted. So it sounds like Harden was pulling some Ben Simmons shit.
That's just the Eagles fan portion. The other Philly franchises are fine.As a Philly sports fan on a national board I’m a villain before I give my first post. I just need to embrace it.

Poor Shaun, he looked to be the real deal. The Worst was Aminu over George.
Other mistake?
We gave up the pick that turned out to be pre-mental midget Kyrie in order to dump the corpse of Baron Davis.
Shaun Livingston's injury was a huge setback as well.
ITs Cleveland or LA for LeBron.....
the only other SLIM SLIM chance I would say is the Bricks--- but I dont think they could put together a team good enough to make him think about it. Plus- no cap room- would have to sign and trade with the Lakers which I would doubt would happen.
LA 70 percent...Cavs 30 percent.
honestly.....lets see how he plays this year....maybe if he starts to regress he does go somewhere else thats just stacked.
and getting Knicks future picks is never a bad bet.....lol......you know the implosion is gonna happen at some point.I think we could make a S&T work with those 8 draft picks...
If getting Kyrie locks in even a one year extension (or more likely a 1+1) for Lebron, they should go that route and just get it done (if possible). Otherwise, do what is best for the roster and hope it's enough for Lebron. Honestly, if he gets Kyrie and Kyrie flakes out again, Lebron will get amnesia over why Kyrie is there (just like with Russ) and be looking to skip out anyway. Getting that extension is key.the thing is- if they go in another direction with any long term money- I think the risk of LeBron leaving goes from a maybe to a likely.
say- they somehow get Turner and Hield-- 2 guys that are great fits......does LeBron stick around?
I think Hield and Turner are better fits- but I think Kyrie makes it much more likely LeBron stays.
They are in a tight spot-
the choices are- trying to appease LeBron to get him to stay and try as hard as they can to win another championship in the next 2 years while he is still great.......or build for the long term health of the team and risk LeBron walking.
what would you rather them do? Its a very tough choice and its a very intriguing scenario.
