I'm pretty sure NY/NJ still has vaccine mandates.
Well what happened to allow him to play in the playoffs then? I thought that was when the restrictions were dropped, baseball was part of that.

The vaccine deal is dead now right? I thought all restrictions were lifted everywhere now. Also, obviously I can’t prove it but I think the vaccine thing was just what was available for Kyrie to get to do his thing last year. If it hadn’t been that it would have been something else.
I don't think it's dead everywhere.

I think @bksballer89 said Kyrie wouldn't have a preference for Miami because of his vaccination status.

Don't think he could play in Toronto either.

My first marriage was in the late 1990's....in relationships since that one I have been prone to do what I want after considering the GF's opinion.

Marriage is definitely a lot different, LOL.

He's not only interested in the Lakers.

The Lakers are the only ones interested in trading for him.

Everyone else is waiting for the is derby.

The derby? For KD?

Maybe they were changed or there was an exception? The Nets were in the post season for such a short time, I had to look it up to see if Kyrie played in the home games. lol

Yeah, that's not a thing any more in today's NBA. People said that about Chris Paul a few years ago and he got traded twice. Same about Westbrook and he's been dealt multiple times as well and could be again. No contract is untradeable any more. And with a player like Beal, who is still all star caliber in his prime, he'd definitely have suitors.
Well Paul and Westbrook were traded for each other.

At this point I think teams are going to have learned from the Lakers’ Westbrook fiasco in trading for a contract of that annual salary. They didn’t really give up any meaningful assets for him yet still ended up looking bad in doing so.

Judge wasn't vaxxed.....when baseball season started the mayor switched up the rule.

NY mayor Adams exempted athletes back in March.
Yeah.

But, those are home games.

What if the Nets did the Math and tied his minimum games played to a number that includes cities he's not eligible to play in?

He's not signing that.

Matter of fact, I'm making this way to complicated...

He likely wouldn't sign anything that takes away from his ability to go on vacation, mid season, while still receiving his full salary.

Kind of like in L.A. with the Rams being Super Bowl contenders and Dodgers being World Series contenders. Funny how that just "worked itself out". lol

Just to clarify it isn't a restriction in the state. It is a more of a team deal from what all the insiders close to the heat are saying

Chaos reigns
He's not trying to take that 6m exception.

But, nobody is as desperate for him right now as the Lakers.

Why would Dallas, Knicks offer anything before they know the outcome of landing cheaper, and saner, targets like Brunson/Brogdon?

Problem for Kyrie is he can't wait that long.

He has to opt-in before then.

Tangled web....
