DJ was talking about trading Russ for Kyrie.

Nets would have to be incredibly stupid.

I know they are sick of Kyrie’s antics, and rightly so.

But for heaven sakes. You have all the pieces you need to win a title. Just wait a year. You aren’t getting more than scraps for Kyrie in trade anyway. Trading him now is a terrible idea.

Get him to opt in and give it 1 year with Kyrie, KD and Simmons.

If it doesn’t work?

Let him walk, trade KD and move on.

But don’t blow it up now before you really give it a chance to work.

Yes, I realize it is Kyrie’s fault it hasn’t had a chance to work.

I tend to agree and I agree with @Mecca that they will likely get things worked out...but just the fact that it has gotten this far would seem to indicate that something is not right in that organization.

Also to be considered is...are the vaccine mandates still in place in NJ/NY? Because if they are, they're looking at another season of Kyrie playing in less than half of their games.

Oh course something is not right in that organization. That’s what Irving does.

Um, he has yet to respond but I expanded on a VALID article I saw.

Not like my usual free-styling bullspit.

And I'm not saying you're wrong either. In fact I said it's more likely that happens than the Lakers pull a trade off.

OK nm yea the trade isn't likely.

Not sure who they'd trade to land KD.....but Dame and KD would be a serious issue in the WC.
Easy anwer:

Everyone and anything outside of Dame, if Brooklyn was willing.

@Shanemansj13 @dtgold88 Did you see what Windhorst said yesterday?

He said - look for 2 things on the Cavs offseason to see how they are approaching the future

1. If they resign Sexton with the intent on keeping him.

2. If they extend LeVert.

Windy said these are natural things for a young team to do.

He said if they DONT do these things- its because they have an eye on a certain free agent next offseason.

With Love coming off the books after this season, he said he believes they can fairly easily get themselves to enough cap space.

Interesting......just wondering if it's the FA if 1) we'd have enough room for a max or near max guy and 2) would one even come here?

does seem like while location still not ideal we do have some players others might want to play with.
