If they can hold onto Jimmy, Bam and still get Durant?

Oof

That would be the play.

Not sure it is enough, but I think they have to try to keep both.

They were always a package.

Maybe KD is okay with staying depending on the return, but maybe not.

Yea I get that. But if I'm KD Kyrie didn't exactly blow me away with his effort to win a title. Not the Nets fault.

I'm not sure the return on Kyrie. It's sounding like the league is pretty down on him.

Let's not forget this is the dude who tried to ruin an entire postseason.

That is where the hole thing doesn’t make sense to me.

It should be up to KD.

If KD wants Kyrie there, the Nets need to keep him. If he doesn’t, then he shouldn’t be asking for a trade after Kyrie leaves.

Yea. Nets may as well keep him because it's looking like pennies on the dollar. Unless KD wants him out.

If they are shopping Irving I think it's clear KD doesn't want him there, especially after Irving sitting out a lot of games this past season.

BKN would laugh

That's the issue with trading a superstar and them wanting a competitive team to go to.

What competitive team is willing to part with their assets to add KD or any other superstar

You basically have to trade stars for stars because most top tier teams aren't flush with draft picks or young talent they want to move.

I’m sure BKN could do better than Herro and old PG and an unknown but it all depends on Kryrie. Even if Kryrie leaves he could still stay

I don't understand why Kyrie being a douche would lead KD to leaving.
Because KD and what they have there isn't winning anything.

Not sure where I heard it but the Bucks would be an intersting spot for KD. Not sure what they would trade that would make sense for the Nets but Giannis and KD? That would be a really good 1-2 punch.

Lowry Herro jovic and….

Durant's salary is so high that the Heat would have to include both Lowry and Duncan Robinson in the deal.

But something like this seems fair. So Lowry, Robinson, Herro, Jovic, 3 1st round picks. Maybe you'd have to toss in Vincent or Strus as well. Nets will obviously try to get as many picks as possible in any potential KD trade to recoup their losses from the Harden/Rockets trade.

EDIT: BTW, the trade is successful if you sub out Lowry and put in Bam, which is what I'd ask for if I was Brooklyn

KD isn't without blame IMO. Ever since he got there.....he's been hurt. He needs to take better care of his body.....

I mean....we haven't even seen Ben on the court with them yet.

To me if I'm the Nets I run it back this year.

Yep and I keep saying this but CLE has a lot of young pieces they could trade and still be competitive. One of the few teams, ATL another team

Would Memphis trade JJ and/or Bane? Probably not both.

Miami isn’t trading Bam. They have Herro and decent pieces. More than most.

Cleveland has Sexton, LeVert, Markkanen, Agbaji and Okoro

Atlanta has Huerter, Hunter, Collins, Bog and their rookies.

Phoenix is pretty interesting but it would have to be a sign-and-trade with Ayton otherwise I dont see it happening.

Clippers, would they trade PG13 for KD. Probably not. They do have a lot of young players to throw in a deal but I don’t see it especially with no future picks

Portland- nope

GS - why would he go back lol

Lakers - AD. Doubt KD wants to play with Lebron. Would BKN do a double swap with Kyrie and KD where LA get both and Russ goes to a 3rd team? AD and future picks isn’t enough to pull that off

If KD wants out it’s probably going to be for the best return in NBA history unless KD narrows it down to just 2 teams
