Something I’ve come to understand reading this forum is that even the Lakers don’t like the Lakers assets. Classic case of selling your soul for a title. To be fair, many teams go that route and don’t even get the title. Lakers will always have that bubble title.

As far as I'm concerned the '20 title is completely invalid. But I also say that the '49, '50, '52, '53, '54, '72, '80, '82, '85, '87, '88, '00, '01, '02, '09 & '10 titles are also invalid.

Thought you said the Nets could flip Harris if they received Fournier in return?
Could Randle and Simmons play together?

One won't shoot, other can be bombs away at times.

One plays defense, the other doesn't know the meaning of the word.

So, maybe.

But, you'd have to think one would have to come off the bench unless you are playing Durant at the 5 * lmao* or the 2?

i think Joe Harris/Fournier is redundant and Evan would be the deal breaker, if another team isn't involved.
Don't rearrange the truth, DJ.

His wingspan is ridiculous.

* 7'6 *

That's one of the reasons I'm so enamored with Jalen Williams from Santa Clara.

On the CBS mock draft show, they said they measured Jalen 12 times at the combine because they thought he, his agent and Santa Clara exaggerated his wingspan.

They weren't.

6'7 point forward with a 7'2 wingspan.

Yeah, you can't teach that.

I don't think he has the skills to be a point forward in the NBA.

Irving and Harris to the Knicks for Randle, Fournier, Rose and a few draft picks?

I do.

So do scouts.

Exceptionally long wing who took a major leap as a jump shooter and shot creator in his third year at Santa Clara and showed his work at the NBA Draft Combine.

Making strides as a sophomore, Williams really turned the corner as a junior under Head Coach Herb Sendak averaging 18 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists over 34.8 minutes per game to earn All-WCC first team honors.

Leading the Broncos in scoring on strong efficiency numbers, Williams created his own shot at a high level out of ball screens playing with good pace, toying with defenders, and scoring from all three levels. Using his length to score scoops and floaters inside, creating separation with hesitation moves or subtle changes of speed in the midrange, and even finding the open man effectively in spots, his ability to create off the dribble was a cornerstone of Santa Clara’s offense.

@CitySushi @msgkings322

Y'all gonna have a $400 million dollar payroll with the taxes.

He's not getting this much, I'm sure.

But, you should keep him.

It lets them match basically any offer

Yeah that was discussed in that Athletic article I posted. They seem willing to spend that much since their revenues are significantly higher, so why not? Keep winning if you can.

As I said in that thread, it's weird rooting for a team that's basically Steinbrenner's Yankees, with home grown talent bolstered by the biggest payroll in the sport.

I think Beal loves the chaos.

He is so clearly taking the bag.

Interesting comp.

Fortunately for him, the bar for the Wizards franchise hero is pretty low.

But competing for playin spots isn’t getting him that kind of love.

yeah, i was wrong on that.

They balekd at using the MLE last summer, and it turns out they didn't need it (getting MLE quality guys like bjelica and porter for the min basically offset that), but still....it was a sign that gs did have some kind of theoretical line.

But apparently not lol

Yeah, it's crazy but they brought in $700 million this past year so even spending $400 mil they make a big profit, and of course the franchise has gone up 10x in value since they bought it just 12 years ago.

I think they're gonna just go nuts with it, re-sign Payton and Looney and extend Poole and Wiggins LOL

Feels like Porter won't be back but they need minutes for everyone so not a big deal

These are the kinds of owners every fan wishes for

Not the Yankees.

Especially not this iteration of the team.

People can attempt to make that statement by claiming Durant went mercenary.

But, almost all of your main Championship pieces this year were drafted.

The rest were castoffs that you rehabilitated.

Some mock @HurricaneDij39 with this phrase..

But, you are built, not bought.
