So far it has gone pretty much to my plan so no complaints. We need a lot of defense now.

Yeah I mean think of it. When did the Lions last had a good defense (Suh/Fairley)? We went to the playoffs.
I am still on board with taking the Oregon Kid at #2. Edge rushers are an absolute necessity in this day and age.

I would take Walker from Georgia before Thibideaux. Johnson from FSU as well.

Waiting until 32 for DE you have a shot for Ojabo after his Achilles, Karlafitis, and Mafe. Chance to miss all if we wait, but the gamble is still a better option.

I am still DE and then Safety with first 2 picks (or out of 3).

Yeah I know that guy you are talking about. Forgot his name but he is sick. Funny thing about the draft from year to year is how guys rise and fall. Last year, I saw the Rattler guy projected as #1 overall and he ended up losing his starting job to someone else and had to transfer I believe lol.

Bama Homer here checking in.

How dare you two?

Will Anderson

And please, don't ever forget his name again. LOL

What if Nakobe Dean miraculously drops to 32?
Then which direction do you go?
Dean appears to be day 1 plug and play WILL/Chase LB. IDK.

Brad Quin re-signed Jared Davis.

Somebody clean out Fluellen’s locker, stat. I got a good feeling.

This is not surprising, Campbell said last year he felt Davis was poorly coached. 1 year prove it deal is kind of what they have been doing.

People bitched about Harris too as he was a 1st round pick that was a clear bust. Worked out ok for us.

That would be awesome and take the safety at 34.

I predict 3 udfa's will be all pros year 1!

I have been critical of some things Holmes has done, but a 1 year flyer at our weakest group won't upset me.

CBS Sports' Chris Trapasso has Liberty QB Malik Willis going to the Detroit Lions with the second overall pick of the 2022 NFL Draft.

This would make for an awfully big flag plant for Lions head coach Dan Campbell. Detroit has former No. 1 overall pick Jared Goff in place to serve as a bridge quarterback for Willis (6'0/225) in 2022, which is important for a prospect as raw as Willis. There likely won't be any looking back for Campbell after making a pick like this, as not too many coaches get a chance to draft multiple first round quarterbacks. If Wills works out for the Lions, Campbell has a chance to cement himself as one of the greatest coaches in Lions' history. If he fails, Campbell will fall by the wayside as another coach who tried and failed to turn the team around. Willis' upside is so tremendous that the risk could be well worth the reward.

Dan Orlovsky said Willis is a top 5 pick easily. And who knows more about being a stud QB than Dan Orlovsky?

Jay Cutler
seems as though Zierlein spouted off the following

Lions had better trade their No. 2, No. 32 and No. 34 picks to Jacksonville before some other team trades up for this awesome franchise QB

@Old Lion is Happy as can be with the possibility that "his guy" might become WR1 for the Lions.
