Hart with 33 saves. Awesome as usual. MacEwen and Hayes with a goal apiece. We were able several times to pin the Senators in their zone which was excellent. Nice win and onward we go.
We dominated 85% of this game.Last few minutes of the period I thought flyboys we’re getting g some O-zone time.
I can root against G.
Probably just telling Hayes that he needs to play North- South, he's not a skills guy.I pulled this from a story Written by Kurt R on SB nation: Could be something to do with the bad locker room situation
- More than one chippy moment between Giroux and his old teammates, including two with Kevin Hayes. Probably nothing, but, y’know ... it’s not nothing.
I would just like to point out that Hayes has more points and plays on the PK as well as the PP.Probably just telling Hayes that he needs to play North- South, he's not a skills guy.
Crazy thing about Hayes is that is he is utterly failing my personal eye test. Guess I need vision correction.I would just like to point out that Hayes has more points and plays on the PK as well as the PP.
G and the words fight back in the same 2 sentencesCrazy thing about Hayes is that is he is utterly failing my personal eye test. Guess I need vision correction.
I thought I saw Laughton go after G in a scrum as well. There was no fight back so it ended quick, but I don’t think Laughton was “kidding around”
Kevin Hayes since returning from injury on 3-5-22
Interesting fact: Our next three opponents have a combined 16 game losing streak, all in regulation. As of right now, they are the three lowest ranked teams in the league.Let's hope the winning shall continue with the Blues coming to town tomorrow.
Spot on Maverick as usual!!
Kiss of death - Flyers starting to get some respect on NHL SXM.Interesting fact: Our next three opponents have a combined 16 game losing streak, all in regulation. As of right now, they are the three lowest ranked teams in the league.
Furthermore, St. Louis has to go into Boston tonight and face arguably the best or second best team in the Nhl before they play us tomorrow night.
No excuses here, we have to win these games.
He's been so invisible I didn't even know he was scratched, that's bad.Tortorella expects more from Ristolainen: Everything 'needs to be better'
Philadelphia Flyers head coach John Tortorella isn't pleased with defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen's performances.Ristolainen, the second-highest-paid blue-liner on Philadelphia's active roster, was a healthy scratch Saturday in the team's 2-1 win over the Ottawa Senators."He just hasn't met (my...www.thescore.com
I'm all for benching or healthy scratching a guy like Risto. Why? He just signed a 5 year, $25.5 million extension and also we have enough depth at his position (when healthy) to win without him, quite frankly. Dude is back and theoretically at 100%, but he's -4 through 4 games with zero points. He's the perfect player for Torts to unleash his fury on and set an example for everyone else who doesn't fall in line. Time to put on your big boy pants, Risto, and start playing like a bigger, better version of Radko Gudas. At least start to earn that fucking contract!! It's not all about points or plus/minus either. Torts is mostly just trying to find out if you have any balls, pussy!!!When you get in Tortorella's doghouse, you are going to have to either work your ass off and get everything better as he requests or you are ass is going to sit and eventually be shown the door. It's just that simple.
I wonder if he is worth anything in a trade? He's been so invisible I didn't even know he was scratched, that's bad.
