We shall see, there C.P. Bacon.
I would love to get Manson from the Avs, not a super star but a very smart physical player and can contribute offensively.Here is another UFA list that includes Defensemen and Wingers for the our new defense. G is on this list and maybe Torts can convince him to come back to the Flyers with say another pretty darn good defensive-minded guy, Kadri. BTW, Kuemper is on this list as well.

We shall indeed, it's hard to three peat in any sport, the Lightning have their work cut out for them in this series, I also think they are a little more banged up then the Avs, Hedberg looked horrible yesterday. But I expect a good series, would like to see the Avs end it in 5 but it could very well go the distance, I'm a homer but I won't discount what the Bolts have achieved either.We shall see, there C.P. "NHL Goalie Stats 2021-2022" NHL Goalie Stats 2021-2022As long as Vasileskiy in in net, it's hard to bet against the Bolts in thus series. I think both teams are evenly matched with the exception being goaltender. And it's not even close who has the big advantage of goaltending in this series. I'll take Vasilevskiy everyday. When all said and done, this guy only 27, may go down in history as the GOAT for goaltenders. Assuming he stays healthy. He's well on his way.
To bad we wasted good money on Ristolainen when we could be in the market for a guy like this.Officially off the Savoie bandwagon. Assuming Wright, Cooley, and Slafkovsky are off the board;
Nemec, Jiricek, Gauthier in that order. You just dont get many shots at a potential top pair RHD, that's my preference. Gauthier is almost a distant 3rd.

This kid is a solid player all the way around and very physical. Oh and he's right handed. and he's a FA. This is the type of things our current front office lacks while trying to find talent.
It would make a bunch of sense for Torts to bring in some of his ex-players that are out there. A couple are on the Lightning roster but I am not sure any are free agents. The Flyers could add one or two of those players who have Championship experience to go aling with the youngsters they'll be drafting and signing but I am not sure any of those ex-players want to voluntarily sign-up to play for Torts again seeing his league-wide nasty rep he has out there.
Thank you for saying everything I feel in articulate way.I think 98% of my disgruntlement with the direction of the team stems from re-signing Risto. And I don't even hate Risto. He's a 3.5M-4M player, but more importantly, they could have gotten a decent asset or two by trading him at the deadline and eating cap space. At the deadline, Risto at 2.7M can probably could have returned at least a 2nd round pick or decent prospect. Either of which could turn in to something significantly better than Risto in a couple years at significantly less money. And you might even convince a GM to give up more than that. GMs go bonkers for big, mean, RHD heading in to the playoffs. And a pro-rated 2.7M would have fit for almost any team. But instead you lock yourself in to overpaying him and crushing his value on the trade market. So now you're locked in to a mediocre #4/#5 defenseman at 5.1M for 5 years.
It's just really bad asset management for a team that's not competitive. You can't win in the NHL making those kinds of decisions. And that one is so obvious that I have a hard time having any hope for the future while Fletcher and co. still pulling the strings.
I really like Nemec.Officially off the Savoie bandwagon. Assuming Wright, Cooley, and Slafkovsky are off the board;

While I agree with you on Hart, he still needs a ton of help in front of him unfortunately. We need a strong defense and I'm not sure where help will come from givin our current roster.I'm starting to finally warm up to the hiring of Torts and sadly I'm not even drunk saying this. I think he has that personality to fit well in this city. I think he has a bit of old school along with newer stuff that can work well here. He has a bit of a Mike Keenan side to him, but not to that extreme perse. I think the player who will benefit the most from Torts and his system is Carter Hart. We need this kid back to his old form. He has a ton of hockey left to bounce back and grow into a potential Vezina candidate.
Lots of talk of a bad culture that has to change. Culture is in the locker room.I'm starting to finally warm up to the hiring of Torts and sadly I'm not even drunk saying this. Agree. Absolutely Torts will address that issue.Lots of talk of a bad culture that has to change. Culture is in the locker room.
So are they saying the players have an F-you attitude toward the coaching staff and vice-versa ? Clearly the flyers overpay for the given talent so can’t see how “pay” is the issue. Are there factions within the players ? Old vs young ? O vs D ?
If there are specific a-holes , they need to go. I do believe Torts will take care of this
