If I'm a contender, Scott Laughton is exactly the kind of player I want to trade for. That sure as hell doesn't mean we have to give him up unless we really like what is being offered.

Idk what Chuck Fletcher is trying to do right now, but if we're trading someone like Laughton, then I think the entire damn team is on the block.

Big win over Detroit on the road last night. This was a very tight-checking, chippy game with zero room out on the ice until we broke it open in the 3rd via some great plays by Hayes, Laughton, Konecny and Cates. It's a real shame that Carter Hart lost his shutout bid late. He deserved better.

It's a big win in the standings, but let's see if we can back it up today against the Jets, who are only the 2nd team in the Nhl to get to 30 wins.

We should've beat the Jets. As it is, we had to settle for overcoming an 0-3 deficit and then still losing the game late in the 3rd. I hate to simplify it as such, but I feel like we win that game if either Hart or Ersson had the start over Sandstrom.

The 4th and deciding goal against was in my opinion a very weak goal to give up, despite the fact that our defense on the play probably should've been better.
