I think if he trades one in that deal then they just keep the other 1st. Try to give Beverly + young player and 2nd's for an upgrade or maybe go after Reddish idkGet Russ and a first for those guys.
Then try to get a shooter for another first and maybe a young guy like Max Christie (although I would prefer the Lakers to keep him)

Taking RW requires a 1st. The other 1st and maybe a 2nd for the players back.Get Russ and a first for those guys.

If we break down by parts I can see why Utah wants both 1st's.And that's exactly why Pelinka hasn't pulled the trigger yet.
Is it worth giving up two 1sts to get rid of Russ, when his contract expires in like 5 months? The only reason he would do that is if the returning players would make the Lakers a contender.
No point giving up your future for a probable first round exit

Like you said, taking Russ requires a 1st.
Conley isn't worth a 1st.
Vanderbilt and Beasley you could say is worth a 1st.
Maybe instead of a 1st they can include Reaves or Christie but I am sure Ainge won't budge much.
Or the greatest franchise in NBA history that’s just down the roadEspecially if the Lakers can get in on the carnage...
Sure thing, Ja
