Tee Morant did play overseas but is a barber and as previously mentioned.....trained kids in basketball. Before training NBA players.

It's unlikely he gets dealt.....maybe in the summer.

Never know, maybe they were just trying to get that increased trade value by having him under contract another year, make Rob offer up both picks, lol.

I guess it's possible but now Hield and Turner make combined 56 mill.....RW makes 47 mill. The Lakers would have to add a player or 2.....

I doubt he gets moved till the summer.

They only have to add a player if they want to minimize any spending increase. Trade still works cap-wise as 2 for 1.

Sometimes it isn’t about leverage.

Not sure if this one falls into that category.

Because, why not just e tend him?

I know they had money.

But, they could have spread that amount the whole team as a end of the year payout.

Why specifically make him trade eligible, with a low base the next two years, if not to entice teams wanting to trade for him?

So earlier on the radio I heard that of the 34 admitted wrong calls involving the Lakers on L2M, 21 of them favored the Lakers. I don’t know the number of players that fell to the ground though.

While that might be correct, I doubt they were game-deciding decisions.

Not like that, but even in that game there were 4 calls on the report and 3 favored the Lakers. Plus it certainly appears Lebron traveled on the play, which isn’t unusual in the NBA.

Everybody seems to travel nowadays. Almost seems like we rarely see that call anymore.

And Lebron is really bad at it!

He can get you 20 a night on a marginal team that needs some one to shoot the basketball. In LA he’s a third option and a stand still jump shooter.
He can do more than shoot but yeah he is a nice 3rd option. Lowry is a bad 5th option

Not even going to bother with the Nets-Lakers game.

Unless by some miracle they manage to hold Kyrie to less than 40 points tonight, they don't stand a chance.

Bobby Marks thinks Doc should be in discussion for COY.
You ever notice how self serving all of these mid year debates are about end of the year honors? How are they determined? A bunch of 5’6’’ no talent ass clowns who can’t play sports. They make their role in this thing more important than they should be. Honestly, who gives a flying fuck what Bobby Marks thinks? He is trying to manufacture relevancy by pulling one hot take from his ass after another. They’re not the lions. That would be the players who actually play the game and produce the talent that generates eyes and thus revenue. The media are the hyenas. They’re filthy scavenger creatures that can’t hunt shit themselves so they leech off of what the real kings of the jungle provide them. They’ll pick a carcass dry because it’s all they can get their hands on. Fuck the media.
