Nah. It's a savvy move. If you just look at the new salary for THIS season only, which is now 35 mil, its an overpay for his talent. But they purposely renegotiated his deal, bumping up his salary this season, which gets them above the salary floor and also keeps him trade eligible. But the other years, he's around 20 mil per. That's more than fair market value for a player of his skills
