He was already playing like he was as a rookie.

None of his stats has decreased, not even with Mitchell on the court.

I don’t have to put words in your mouth.

I simply have to quote your own posts.

@DJ..we all know who you are and what you do.

I can most certainly be a asshole.

But, you are a troll who can never, EVER admit when you are wrong.
I admit when I am wrong often. But, not when somebody says I said something I didn't.

Especially because it’s a questionable fit.

I don't think it's really that questionable as far as fit. He provides a lot of what the Lakers need. The only question I would have is whether or not he's willing to defer to Lebron and AD as much as he'd need to.

But 2 1sts is too steep.

Maybe Westbrook, a 1st and a 2nd?

They added a 30 ppg scorer and Mobley’s scoring only dipped .8.

Barnes scoring dropped .6 and they added….nobody.

Cavs are 10 games over .500 and the Raptors are 5 games under.

Guess what that means?

Nothing.

Sophomore slump, they will both figure it out.

Less than a fucking point per game.

He totally got that shit from one of the clowns on the boob tube.

Mobley is most definitely the future.

That high scoring backcourt is the PRESENT.

The fact that guys like Mobley and Barnes started out so hot out of the gate is the only reason it appears that they have plateaued.

People will be saying the same shit about Banchero next year.

All 3 will be just fine.

Scottie and Evan aren't the best players on their teams......YET.

So, not sure why folks are surprised.

I expected Evan to take a sizeable leap this year too.

But, the Mitchell acquisition delayed that timeline a bit.

Well done, Wamu.

I agree 100%
@DJ ?

Did you forget to quote these?

Nah, you tried to post some edited shit to fit your narrative and thought I wouldn’t notice…lmfao

I remember every word I say.

I just don’t see the value in adding a volume shooter to be the third option to LeBron and AD. To me it just seems like a move to grab a name without regard to fit. The fit isn’t horrible. I just don’t think it maximizes what the Lakers already are. For example, I think better use of the Westbrook expiring would be the Turner Hield move. They get shooting to space the floor from both players. Turner helps AD stay at the 4 where he feels most comfortable and Turner provides nice rim protection. Hield is just a professional shooter and in a 7 game series is a threat to shoot out of his mind in 1-2 matchups in a series. I think these guys have holes in their game that don’t allow them to be among the elite but in the right spot can be glue guys for a winner. On a team with LeBron and AD that’s who they need, not a guy like Lavine who is an ok shooter.

Truth be told, either move (Lavine or Turner/Hield), in my opinion, makes the Lakers better. I think the upside of Turner Hield is greater for the Lakers though.

Saying the Mitchell acquisition delayed the timeline is basically the same as saying it's stunting his growth.....

Which is what I said. Not a sophomore slump like you said I said.

You are a fucking clown, DJ.

TF is wrong with you, my guy?

No matter how many times you type this shit, we still see your post.

I clearly said you were wrong and why you were wrong when you made your initial post way back when.

But, you decided to go back and only quote the part that fit your narrative….lmfao

Why not post the entire thing?

Oh, right…

Because it fucks up your claim that…but, but, you said it too!!!

No, I really didn’t…lol

I said it was a big ole nothing, just like I’m saying now.

Mobley * and Scottie * will be just fine.

I don’t think it’s a questionable fit either.

But, that offer probably won’t fly because teams like the Knicks can obliterate that.

Gotta have a post Lebron core.

Davis and Lavine isn’t a bad start.

But, the Indy trade makes way more sense.

I was a big advocate of them trying to get Turner/Hield.

But the way Thomas Bryant has been playing, and the fact Darvin Ham likes to play small ball a lot, the immediate need for Turner isn't necessary. At this point I hope Pelinka somehow finds a way to get Buddy for less than two 1sts

I mean....

As a Lakers fan I should hope you do too....
No Smart.

But, everyone else is probably playing.

I don’t think it will be a blowout, especially if Reaves and Lonnie are back.

Celtics are on a 3 game losing streak.

What is Davis’ minutes restriction?
