The Lakers will win at least 47-48 games.

There I said it, I exposed the elephant in the room.
Pretty sure I said they could win 48 if they made a trade involving RW but yeah....whatever.

And Nunn has come around on his shooting and we're still 25% into the season....still time.
Pretty sure you didn’t.

Nunn is an afterthought and one of the guys the Lakers are likely to rid themselves of, along with Beverley.

Yeah, reportedly the Lakers are leaning towards a Bev/Nunn trade instead of a bigger Russ trade because they are loathe to move the picks.

Celtics give Horford a 2 year, $20M extension (fully guaranteed with a trade kicker)

Hell yeah. He fits in very well with the Celtics. As long as he has some gas left in the tank I like the extension.

Cavs are tough at home- like most good teams- 9-1...

some work to do on the road which is not surprising for a young team.

Good win tonight down some big men. I honestly did not even know who this Diakite guy was 2 weeks ago- but he has done a decent job.

I hope Love and Allen get back soon. Both guys are important parts. I would take my time with Love though- you dont want injuries spiraling into more injuries if he favors something. He is an important piece.

Though- it is showing that they dont NEED Love....and a 30M expiring contract is kinda interesting if there is a wing out there......LeVert is expiring too...packaging both for a better wing? We shall see.

I want to keep Love- but at this point of development on the team- you have to be open to a lot of things. The Cavs are only going to continue to get better this year, next year, the following year. If an opportunity comes up for a long term move they have to be prepared and think about it.
crazy game. Cannot hit water from a boat in that last game but make more than 90% of our shots in the second qtr. and I think well over 60% for the game last night......against a top 3 defense (granted, missing a couple guys though 1 who isn't good at defense)...... And we were missing arguably our top defender and a guy we rarely win without but hold them under 90?

Did a really nice job on Embiid. Did miss some shots he might normally make and got frustrated a some calls (mostly correct calls). He might be this generations Tim Duncan and the next foul he thinks he commits will be the first.

For sure they need to be open to many different things and be flexible. I wonder if the Horford deal can be a benchmark for Love? Maybe a little more at $25 mil (2 years)? Also depends not only what we want but what he wants. Does seem like he really likes his teammates though could also see him deciding it's time to call it quits.

I thought they said last night during the game that it was Embiid's first in 4 or 5? He didn't look like his usual dominant self.

As far as Love. Unless the Celtics can get him :heh: I hope he finishes his career with the Cavs. He fits in really well with this young team. I don't remember, do his teammates call him grandpa or uncle Kev? Thought I heard the Cavs play by play people mention that.

I’m a bit surprised too but the way SGA has stepped up his game I think it’s accurate. This seems like a pretty solid list to me.
