At one time Davis was pretty much universally considered a top 5 guy and many thought he might take the mantle of best player in the league some day.

Joe Vardon was on the afternoon radio show and said that the Lakers really planned on him being dominate.

he has not been that. He is not as good as he used to be.

still very good all star player- but I think everyone expected a lot more out of him.

I thought MULTIPLE titles when the Lakers got Davis with LeBron. His drop off has been substantial.
