But, the Lakers played the top 2 teams in the West, on paper at least, pretty tough.

They played the Clippers tough. Warriors were just messing around and gassed it up whenever they needed to.

kawhi practically watched the entire 1st half from the bench and played 20 minutes.

He is a good role player assuming you can put him around quality players where he can be the 5th option offensively.

Nope. And their success hinges on a near 40 year old (albeit being lebron) and a dude who's played more than 60 games once in the last 4 seasons.

You know their roster is bad when Walker takes 21 shots. An older Lebron and AD, an injury prone player. Russ is nothing more than a decent role player making 40+M a year. Other thsn Pat Bev and JTA the rest of the roster is unplayable for most rosters.
For example: Ryan, Reeves, Jones and Nunn would not be playing in Cleveland and they aren’t even a top team in the Easy. That LA roster has been so bad the last couple years. That FO is a shitshow
