I mean, that's part of the fun of the NBA, as the older names start to decline (Westbrook, Harden, Draymond, Durant, CP3, etc) the new ones rise (Luka, Giannis, Ja, countless others)

This is correct, so long as we go by today's rules regarding flagrants.

1990's games were intense on a day-to-day basis. I mean, Isaiah Rider once beat Michael Jordan in his own house (the Bulls just about never lost at the United Center in the Jordan era)...

Back then that would have meant something. Today, it's just one game.
