+ 1. Dude was on a hall of fame path before he found steroids. If we’re being honest close to 1/3 of MLB was juicing. You have to acknowledge that for sure. But he seems to get more shade than most and it’s only because of all the juice heads, he’s the one that just went next level. Juice puts some strength on the swing, but juice doesn’t explain timing and hand eye coordination. Dude was one of the best pure hitters I’ve ever seen. I’ve never seen any other man intentionally walked with the bases loaded. I’ve never seen another man walked with nobody on.

Bonds was the greatest hitter people living today have ever seen. No doubt about that. And he is probably the greatest hitter ever. There was a reason that he would get walked 200 times in a season.
