I mean, LeBron and the Lakers are Draymond's leverage play.

If anything, it's weird that LeBron is chucking it up with Dray while getting blown out.

No it's been going on for years. It's actually been kind of a point of contention with Warriors fans with Draymond. He's always defended and propped up Lebron. So when Curry was getting all this slander, he was never vocally out there vouching for him. But then he goes out of his way to praise Lebron and defend him on interviews...it was odd.

Then Draymond was on an interview where Mav Carter was going off on Steph. He said Steph couldn't guard anyone and couldn't even guard him. That he would give Steph buckets. And Draymond just nodded along.

If you listen to Draymond's podcast, he brings up Lebron in every episode, like clockwork. Even in his apology for the Jordan Poole incident, he brought up Lebron. It's just weird the amount of stanning Draymond does for Lebron.

So when you see this on the court, it's just odd. I mean yes, it's game 1 of the regular season. It's not that deep. But at the same time look at the reaction of the Warriors bench. They're all side-eyeing the situation. They know what's up.

Maverick Carter's comment that Steph couldn't guard him. I forgot how he lit the league up when he played. Someone shove a basketball in his mouth to shut him up. What a stupid thing to say.

For charity they should play a game of one on one at some point.

Yeah it's probably too early, but I just didn't see the cohesiveness or any real upside in their bench/role players. I actually think they should run JTA out more. They do need some guards though who can knock down the outside shot.

JTA actually plays defense so yes.

I think its gonna take some time for the Cavs to put it together- esp. with Mobley missing most of the pre-season.....I think they will flounder around .500 through November and then get things going. Adding Mitchell is going to require some adjustments. They still do not have a definite starter at #3 trying to decide between Okoro, LeVert and even Wade.....

I just hope they come out and play good D tonight and give themselves a chance to win in the 4th qtr.

I don't see them floundering around. I mean, it's roughly the same team they had last season that started out pretty well but added Mitchell in place of LM and Sexton (who only played 11 anyway). Could it happen? sure, but I think it would depend on schedule which I haven't even looked at past the weekend.

There's the place in Long Beach on Broadway (maybe 3 blocks from the beach) but I can't remember the damn name to save my life.....great food. Used to live across the street from it (2014-2017 before I moved to Rancho Cucamonga to be closer to my dad after mom died) and would run across the street for dinner a few times a week.
