He was, but can't really be re-signed next year without cap space, which the Lakers aren't going to have. He may have lost more minutes to Vanderbilt after last night's trade too.

Reed gives them a swingman defender and a 38% 3 pt shooter for his career (in limited minutes).

Lakers could use a true center now...
