Not if that's the best offer. Like i've said before, other teams can offer way more. But are they?

If Kyrie says LA or bust, the Nets should do that deal for the pick alone.

They really shouldn’t though.

That is like 5 cents on the dollar.

Nah KD likely not too far behind. I rather ride it out and try to get a ring out of it

Oh I completely agree. The Lakers don't have jack to offer. Even those 2 firsts aren't super desirable.

But, and again this is a big BUT, if Kyrie refuses to go anywhere else and refuses to play for the rest of the season.

5 cents on the dollar is a terrible deal, but not if you can't spend or touch that dollar.

Lmao…

No they shouldn’t.

The worst thing that can happen is he walks after the Season.

They are a top 4 team in the East, healthy.

They would need a contributor back.

They aren’t going to alienate KD by bringing in Westbrook.

West rook and Simmons?

Lmfao

….and yes, could Kyrie try to sit out?

Sure.

But, …….

They’ll get more in a sign and trade.

Good point, I retract my comment.

Looks like Pelinka will have his work cut out for him and hope for a miracle

This is weird on the nets part
Like, people have likely and unlikely incentives in their contract.

I can see saying he gets a 3-5 mil bump for MVP, or winning a chip.

But, the whole contract?

Nah.

Didn't Durant just leave when his deal was up? Harden quit while still with his team (teams?) and forced a trade.
Quitting is still quitting and it has nothing to do with an All Star bid. James Harden is an All Star. Period. There’s no debate. Dude got screwed.
