I don’t understand why people keep saying that, unless they are getting the Lakers picks.

They will have like 20 million in cap space this summer.

Why do they need 40 mil more when nobody is gonna sign there?

Yes they should be getting future picks in some form

They need picks in like 25-27 or even beyond when some of those guys get paid

I’m looking at those guys numbers, not just their teams seeds.

But, there are a ton of guys with better stats.

Brunson, Young, Garland…..all have a case.

If Halliburton qualifies, SGA qualifies…..those guys should as well.

Clearly, this is looked at as a individual honor, not reward for your teams standings.

I would not have blinked if Harden made it.
