Thing is, he's been on the block since at least October with no real offers. They tried to work him into a Wizards (Rui) and Bucks 3 way trade for cap filler and 3 2nds, but the Lakers swooped in for Rui, probably the closest they got to a deal.

Harris is younger than Bog and Curry....plus he under contract next season. Something to think about with our cap situation.

To me they need a Russ for multiple pieces trade

Whether it’s Utah, sa or Charlotte

(Or Indiana if they ever give up)

All are much better than pretending you can get a star with zero cap space this summer (ok it’s 20m if you let everyone, including rui and reaves walk)

Curry is the better shooter over Harris, cheaper, and they'd have his Bird rights for next year. I don't really think the Lakers can get the Nets players without something enticing. They're not looking to dump them, but find a better player fit. Unless they want defense (Bev) or a young G/F (Walker), Lakers don't have much to offer.

Bog is better all around than either with more size. We know what they expect in terms of return, but it's still steep.

If the Jazz, Spurs, or Pacers want to do a Russ deal, that would be the better move IMO. Are the Bulls ready to throw in the towel? Russ/2 1sts for LaVine/Caruso? Or Russ, Bev/Walker, 2 1sts for LaVine/Ball? Hopefully at least the 2029 first with some protections...

They need a backup center as bad as the Clippers.
