Meka was just never the same after that back injury it definitely slowed him down

Thabeet, it’s really hard to say what made him miss. He just didn’t have it. He wasn’t the toughest guy, or the most skilled. But he had great size and was reasonably athletic for someone that size

Tyson chandler was wild. He was listed as a SF for a while and eventually ended up a C…not many guys do that route lol
Johnathon Bender!!!!!

7 foot Sf…lol

I probably just learned from swift

Thomas wasn’t close to swift as a prospect imo, although similar styles.

But Thomas had size and athleticism to gamble on him, but not at 1.2
Do you know who I used to love?

Big Country, Bryant Reaves.

Flash in the pan.

But,fun player.

I also expected more out of Eddy Curry.

Dude pulled a Allan Houston, Amare Stoudemire.

Took the money in NY and just collapsed as a player, for mental and physical reasons.

Oh shit…

@The Q

Minny is trying to back door me.

Hopefully, after the Gobert trade, their assets are as depleted as ours?

they have less to offer than you guys, unless Danny really likes Wendell Moore...

they just have one big salary to help them stay under the tax next year.

I don't like what Danny has done since the Gobert/Mitchell deals

Not selling off the vets to give themselves a chance at Vic/Scoot is a decade long mistake.

The wife just texted me she took a test and is positive for COVID.
Good luck. My wife and I already had it like 4 times. She thought she had it again yesterday but she thinks it's just strep throat. Obviously working in a hospital exposes her more and then she passes it to me lol

Good fit for both teams.

Not sure how she got it....she works from home. Must have been when we were in Los Wages.

I still haven’t gotten it.

My kids did.

Not I !!!

But, I did get that super flu.

If Covid is worse than that?

God help her.
She had a bad sore threat last night and I got her some chloraseptic spray....she tested herself this AM.

He wants to try and prove a point that they can actually compete without Mitchell and Gobert is my opinion.

I think he let it play out for the fans sake.

They were near the top of the West for the 1st few months.

Now that they are in free fall, he can blow it up, with no blowback.

They are in no man’s land.

So, either he tries to win by adding a guy like Collins or he tears it down to the studs.

But, he has to decide now.

Too many teams already have a head start on the tanking.

Yah they’d have to go on a Portland like “run” from last year when they won an absurd like 6 of their last 30 games

Same.

He never even looked anywhere else. How the hell are you going to have Lebron James on the floor with you with the game on the line and not even look at him?

But then, how many times did we say that about him when he was in OKC with KD? lol

If what I described is what happened, it may have been that by the time Ham realized Westbrook had "audibled", it was too late to set something up.

The Lakers have lost a few games like this and if they are unable to make up enough ground to get into the playoffs, this kind of stuff, as much as any injuries or shaky roster construction, will be why.

They've already dropped enough of these type games to be at least .500, if not better.

I'm not sure what level of exhaustion Lebron was at either. What are the odds that Lebron would've run down the clock and launched a long jumper? It's not really the Lebron/Westbrook way, but calling a timeout to actually run a play would've been an interesting alternative lol.
