Yeah, he didn't take a reduced deal to help them out or anything.

Billionaire and he knows there is a salary cap that Rob has to work with.
Plus, he was the catalyst for imploding the deal for Buddy.

Rob should have told him no.

But, you actually just made me realize something.

The Buss family/ Lakers Management is really in a precarious situation and it’s no wonder that the power dynamic is tilted in Lebrons favor.

He has more money than them.

That’s fucking WILD.

Imagine if he ended up buying the Lakers one day?

LOL.

He’s not that rich…….YET.

If the Suns can fetch 4 billion, the Lakers should have 10 as a starting point.

No.

In 5 years he will be retired and the NBA will be ready for the Vegas expansion.

The writing is already on the wall.

What is OKC giving up for OG though? Do you give them this years’ 1st?

Not many contenders have the assets. The Cavs probably can’t even get Precious lol
Additionally, I am wary of a deal with a guy like Masai. It seems like he doesn’t lose many.

I mean, I guess they could structure something around Maxey to make up for not much in the way of draft assets. OG probably fits better with Harden and Embiid. Giving up on making the Maxey Harden Embiid group work only makes sense if you bring back a better fit. OG is one of the few guys I would walk away from Maxey for. Has little to do with the head to head comparison and more to do with overall fit to try and get a championship out of this Harden Embiid window. I think Tobias Harris also benefits from this.

You can play shock and awe with a ton of draft assets. They would just have to match salary. The deal is really about the 4-6 picks that go.
Yeah they are one of the few that could throw 3-4 future picks and they would be just fine. Throw in Dort or another young guy…what’s not to like. If healthy, they make the playoffs next season. Play-in this season
