Meh...not sure how he'll respond.
In one aspect, Chuck is probably correct....but then again, Klay is a proven competitor and a champion.
I just hope he doesn't go all KD on social media. I trust he won't as he seems much more centered.

That said...it's Barkley....chuck is gonna chuck.
I think Klay knows more about his body and his return than anyone other than his doctors, therapists and trainers.
He's still a work in progress though since his comeback began imho.
There will always be good games & bad games....and that applies to most if not all players.
Hopefully there's more of the former obviously.
Yeah, I just don’t want to see him being petty on social media anymore, like he did with the NBA2k guy.

Because he has been playing better, maybe he won’t.

Im a Klay fan.

His laid backness is one of the things I like most about him.

Some of his outburst seemed ooc.

By gross you mean amazing
Have never liked the taste, outside 1 exception.

Belgium beer that they sell on tap at the Yard House.

Bartender did me a solid and let me know they sell it at Trader Joe’s.

Not to perpetuate the stereotype…

But, the Raspberry one tastes just like Welch’s grape juice and is my favorite.

Shit is nothing like beer….more like fizzy wine.

I think a large part of it is that he dedicated nearly 3 years just to rehabbing with the goal of being who he was. Then when he gets back he gets told "yeah, you're not going to be the same", it's a blow to the mindset he had in rehabbing. The entire time of him being injured all he wanted to do is come back and be the same. Reality checks aren't easy, especially for these world class athletes. It's why players refuse to leave the game when they're clearly on the decline. The problem for Klay is that the decline hasn't been a natural one. It's been a sharp one that has been out of his control. So he's done everything he can do to get back to where he was, but unfortunately that won't be enough.

I think you'll see him start to accept it more. Steph and Draymond will help him through this as they have when he was out with his injuries.

In light of recent reactions, how will Klay respond?

Still, it seems that Charles Barkley has reaffirmed his stance about Thompson in a recent interview with Taylor Rooks of Bleacher Report. “I was caught off guard because I went back and looked and I said, ‘Klay Thompson is still a heck of a player, but he’s never going to be the best two-guard in the NBA that he was for a long time because of age, Achilles and ACL,’”

Probably cry about it

Agree 100%.

Spectacular point that you made about his unnatural decline after missing damn near 3 years.

No wonder he’s been emotional.

Basketball has been a major part of how these guys measure PERCEIVED worth.

Take it away from them, some of them crumble.

Even Shaq said he was lost and had self worth issues after his playing days.

I have a question for the congregation….

How is Luka #2 in the MVP race , some places #1 * NBA.COM * when his team is 10-10?

I mean, the award is Tatum’s as of now….imo

But, how is Luka Magic ahead of Giannis or even Curry who’s .500 too?

I mean shit, the Thunder are only 2 games behind them.

Why not SGA?

I’m also not feeling Booker.

Give me Mitchell over Book.

Ive been hearing nothing but support for Luka. People fixated on how little help he seemingly has.

Man, Sixers are getting worked. Down 21 at halftime. Defense must be atrocious.
