Lakers led most of the game by 10 points or so. Solid play, even with some poor shooting from Russ. Davis, Walker, Reaves and Gabriel all played pretty well. Bev deserved some credit for annoying Durant until he broke through in the second half, then ran out of gas.
Bev was acquired for his tenacious D but his O has been a big time disappointment.

You can’t play shit defense for 48 mins. Allen is everything to that defense. Cavs are tumbling…they aren’t playing good defense and can’t seem to figure out close games in the final minutes. A lot of work to do to be considering a top 4 team in east
If I was told before the season we'd have been 8-4 after the WC trip I'd have taken it. Though I'd have thought we'd then win at home to go 9-4.

For sure a lot of work to do but still feel like fully healthy (especially with Rubio) we will be fine. Even with occasional guys out. Just not huge stretches to key players like last year for months.

In a Pro-Am game in August? Congrats. We know he's talented, that's not the issue.
Tell me one thing that can be said of him that wasn’t said of KD.

He needed to be red-shirted for a foot injury before playing an NBA game?
Freak injury, you can’t call him anything that didn’t apply to KD.

If you're trying to equate him to KD, you're going to be disappointed. They are different players and are different athletically.

You really gotta tone down your Chet expectations.

I have always said it's a bad idea to compare a kid that hasn't played a single game yet to an all time great.

Each time I hear some rookie that hasn't scored a point in the NBA being compared to a future HOFer I think of how Danny Ferry was being compared to Larry Legend.

Chet has great potential. So did Greg Oden.

I figured out how to correctly compare KD & Chet.

They're both tall! :heh:

Apparently you don’t read, that’s ok. He will be what he will be.

The only thing I said was that nothing can be said about his being so skinny that wasn’t said of KD. That’s literally it.

I got something that can be said.

As a skinny rookie KD played 80 games. Chet's playing zero.

I like Chet's all around game and hopefully he'll be ready to go next season. At least he has youth on his side.

If he gets hurt again then his frame can be questioned more than KDs was. Until then really no difference.

Wow okay. They both are skinny. But one of them played 80 games as rookie. The other will play as many games as me this season.

And perhaps play the rest of his career without injury. KD has certainly had his share of injury. I can’t believe all of this just by saying people had the exact same concerns about KD. The future will tell.

KD didn't start his career out injured though. Right now the only thing their careers have in common is they're both tall.
