Crazy stat time. SGA is averaging 27.7 drives to the basket this season, 6 more than second place Luka Doncic. And only 6 fewer than the entire Warriors team!
Warriors just do not have a lot of guys who are young, athletic and attack the basket anymore---- prob. why Kerr has committed to getting Kuminga in the rotation more.

Curry can still get to the basket---- but hes gonna be 35 in March......never a big guy- he, and the team, probably dont want him taking a bunch of hits.

Wiggins and Poole def. need to get to the basket more.

plus- I mean - it looks like it might be permanent- but who knows--- but RW coming off the bench has actually been pretty good. Still turning the ball over and making plenty of mental errors- but he has been shooting better and producing- which is something they desperately need.

He's been a bright spot.

Kendrick Nunn has been garbage.

AD disappears in the 2nd halt.

LeBron needs to stop launching 3's and to make his fucking free throws.

Spot on Mecca and Wiggy. The Lakers are not going to give up cap space for next year nor the two future number ones everybody and their brother seems to want because they believe that Turner and Hield are not going to do any better for them than what they already have. So be it. I am pretty sure the Lakers are done giving away future assets for a win-now mentality when the stars are not playing consistently and like they used to back in the bubble. Nope, it is pretty evident the Lakers are going to play-out the year and then re-assess next summer.

the Cavs big men got in foul trouble in the first half and Davis looked energetic and extremely tough.

2nd half- he just did not show up. The Cavs upp'ed their energy and the Lakers just did not match it.

LeBron was very good- but he was not great.

I have watched a LOT of LeBron games- and watching this one- I realized that I just never thought that- wow- this is when LeBron takes over- and its really gotten to that point.

Honestly- throughout the whole game- even with the first half foul trouble and being down at half I felt confident- and that is such a strange thing to say against a LeBron team at home.
Same. Lebron is still really good but I could see just from this season so far he isn’t the same which is expected at some point. He can be the old Lebron every now and again but no way he is carrying this team. The Cavs didn’t play well in the 1H and were down 5. I was feeling pretty confident after that less than stellar 1H

Sad that my GOAT Kawhi is out without a timetable. I hope this doesn't turn into a 2017-18 type season for him. He might think the roster is shit and not worthy of his time this year, so he continued rehab. It does feel like a retard constructed this roster together. Depressed that my hero is gone, i'm going to take some time off from the forum. Take it easy fellas and cya soon.

Danny can't keep waiting around. If he waits any longer to make more trades, those Wembanyama odds are gonna vanish
Yep and right now whether they are winning or not they have a ceiling. They need a star in the middle of this really good supporting cast. Mark might be a future #2 or he just plays better has a #1 just can’t be a star that you need to take a team far. This team seems to have too good of chemistry for a top 5 pick

Clippers just a bunch of bitches.
I have to admit I can't believe I'm saying this, but....John Wall should be starting.
Lue ought to have Reggie Jackson coming off the bench. They'd flourish...and so would the Clips.
That said..it's only been 10 games...but 5-5 really isn't too shabby right now all things considered.

Cleveland didn’t play well in the 1H but they were still aggressive and making their FT’s. They kept it close then their 2H defense like always shows up and they still weren’t shooting great but getting plenty of stops. Good win bc usually LA gives them problems with their stars that can score 1-on-1. Mitchell made the difference this time.
2nd time last 3 games, I believe, the bench guys (Osman, Love and Wade) were all incredibly bad from 3 and we still won pretty easily. Team was 8-25 overall. Just have so many different ways they can play.

Did you see the postgame locker room scene where they gave the JYD chain to JB?

edit - haha...just saw wiggy posted it

Love this team.

the Cavs chemistry- the players and coaches is just incredible. Everyone is on the same page and likes eachother. I do not think it would be inaccurate to say they have the best team camaraderie in the league. It will get tested at some point- but its just such a good mix of good guys.
we have been tested a number of times in game and been able to handle it........next test will be how they handle a losing streak that will eventually happen.

one big trade could change a lot of things---- giving 65 minutes a night Hield and Turner would give them a LOT of help- but do they want to pay the price of the picks and using a lot of that cap room they have for next year?

Hield and Turner would push other guys into roles that would be much more maneable. Walker, Reaves, Brown, etc. just are not supposed to be important top half rotation guys.......

but you go LeBron, Davis, RW, Hield, Turner- and then have those guys playing more support roles it would be interesting to see how it turned out.

Do you want to trade multiple unprotected picks and use cap room for this team though-- do Hield and Turner make them a legit contender? Or instead of Hield and Turner- say- Olnyk, Conley, Clarkson or something.....

If they could get Markaanen instead of Olnyk I would have to seriously consider it if i were the Lkaers but his value seems to be going up.---

or just Markaanen and Sexton???

Jazz might not be able to blow it up at 7-3----- but it would be pretty funny if the Jazz got Markaanen and Sexton and all those picks for Mitchell- and then spun Markaanen and Sexton for more unprotected picks.
It's certainly possible the way they have been playing. started off a little cold, but sexton has been his efficient self again shooting overall and from 3. LM obviously showed he can play and a reasonable contract.

Can you believe we had the talent to unload both of them (and Agbaji) and still have the kind of depth we have?

what a job this FO has done!!

Don't know if that will work. He's only playing 22 min/game and has already missed 2 games entirely. Can he handle more minutes?
