To me their play looks a little too inconsistent.

I never expected them to win against the Clippers, especially after a back to back.

But those games against Utah should have been blow-outs.

They also need to figure out their free throws and limit turnovers.

And for fuck sake, give the ball to AD in the paint more often. Neither Minnesota or potentially Memphis has anyone to stop him.

I think some of it is/was just the season winding down. They did win 11 of their last 13 games, so can't complain too much.

The most concerning thing to me has been the defense for the last 3-4 games. They were #1 in defensive efficiency since the All-Star break, but outside of the 4th quarter against the Suns they've been terrible.

If they win tonight, they don't play again until Saturday or Sunday. That should help them get some rest and some practice time.

I also think much of the inconsistency, including not getting the ball to AD enough, is guys still learning their roles.

This is partly why, despite what the talking heads are saying, I don't see them coming out of the West this year.

But next year, with a training camp under their belts and a talented enough roster to keep Lebron and AD from having to play 40 minutes a game...that will be a different story.
