It’s either that or you convince the blazers to give up and move on from dame

It seems like moving on from Dame might be what's best for the team and Dame.

Even with Dame, Portland isn't a team that attracts a lot of FA's and it doesn't seem like they have the assets to trade for the pieces they would need to be contenders.

Dame is getting too old for a rebuild and has said that he isn't interested in playing with guys that are 2-3 years away.

Is Rudy Gobert a bitch? Yes.

Should his teammate call him a bitch during a timeout? No.

But...I can imagine teammates getting sick of Rudy Gobert pretty easily. The man is like a real-life, walking angry Frenchman joke.

We should win but it's no gimme.

Y'all have KAT and Edwards.....that is a good 1-2 punch......and Conley is a savvy vet at PG.

Plus, y'all can start Prince at PF? Not too shabby, my friend. Not counting my damn chickens before they hatch.
Will be like an 8 pt favorite I’m thinking

I agree. They should’ve traded him last offseason imo.

But I think the best shot would be Miami

Offering Lowry as salary

The guy from last years draft

And whatever the bounty of picks they can offer is

Ideally for port is Mia folds it in and ends up at the back of the lottery

The TWolves could have just as easily come out with a statement that they don’t condone what Gobert did but that they expect their players to be tough and stuff like that is going to happen. They didn’t have to go ahead and end their season. I mean they already have done so many stupid things it’s not like they get any brownie points for this.

Figured that's what they'd do. I wonder if this means there are more issues than have been reported?

Just heard a stat for you Californians. First time ever all 4 CA teams have a winning record.
Same year none of the Texas teams make the playoffs, all the CA ones do.

They also want to sell tickets though.

A five seed sells a lot more than a team tanking for the bottom.

You have to have a heck of a run to make up for 3 years of bad ticket sales.

Only in the short term.

Teams that build right and create a winning core do a lot better than teams fighting for a play in annually.
