So apparently the league is investigating Dallas for sitting players due to a draft pick being involved.

Imagine being the 5th seed in the Western Conference about half way through the season. Then trading away a good scoring guard, your BEST PERIMETER defender and a future 1st RD pick for Kyrie’s crazy ass for 3 months thinking you’re going to make a serious playoff push.

Now look at them. Blatantly tanking to try to save a pick that was in a deal they made a while ago for Porzingis, who isn’t even on the team anymore.

Standings wise and overall basketball fan wise yes. But TV wise, they made the right choice. Regardless of the circumstances, the Lakers are a draw and that's all they care about.

With so many teams going with bench games today, gotta go with Lakers and Celtics vs the Masters on Easter.
