Here's a potential conundrum....what if Westbrook gives them an advantage over most other teams 2nd units...but he's the only asset they can move to get more shooting? lol

No conundrum, and I'm not going to read too much into one positive Russ result. Trade him as soon as they find the right deal.

Cavs have a lot of talent, easy top 6 team possibly top 4.
I hope so.

As I said yesterday- there has been a silver lining of Garland being out- which is him and Mitchell have not had to figure things out together and its allowed Mitchell to get comfortable. While obviously being able to have one of those 2 guys on the court pretty much at all times will be huge--- I think there will be some moments of frustration getting those 2 on the court together-- both offensively and defensively. It will take time to make that adjustment.

The Cavs obviously have Mitchell, Garland, Allen and Mobley- 4 all star or near-all star level talents - but one of the main thigns that separates them is that they have other guys that canstep up and win a game.

Love, LeVert, Cedi, Wade, Rubio when he gets back- can all really impact a game. Okoro can impact a game defensively.

they def. have the high level talent, and the depth- but its still a super young team that will have to learn to play together. It is not going to be without its tough periods.

Gotta give that man his.props.

He was mostly in control and played his ass off.

When Lebron didn't have it, his teammates held it together.

Lonnie, Davis, Westbrook and Austin showed up.
Even Brown has been respectable in a few games so far.

He's still the player I would drop if we could get another player.

JB made some great adjustments. LeVert was not playing well (still worked on the defensive end) and he took him out and Allen. Kept Love in and Okoro. Well played.
Not sure you saw but was a time he called for a sub and Love assumed it was him and started walking off.....JB pretty much said "hell no.. stay in"

Lakers win Numba 1. Davis had 23, James 26, Westbrook 18, Walker 18, and Reaves had 10. The Lakers played decent D and their offense is slowly beginning to click.
gotta get your boy Reaves some more shots!! 47% from 3 thus far this year. 7th in 3 pointers attempted per game.

Last part is true for sure (as eventually there will be a losing streak or will drop a game we shouldn't)......just need to see how they handle it. They have had in game adversity and handled it well. So far.

definitely. I heard Fedor on the radio (and even though I think he is personally very annoying- he is a good reporter), that Bickerstaff really stressed to the team that they lost too many games last year against inferior opponents. While some was due to injury- they cant have losing records- or even near .500 records- against teams that they lose to last year like Detroit and Orlando, Charlotte, Houston, - lost twice to the Lakers..........they have to win the vast majority of those games if they are going to contend for a home playoff series.

Can't wait till we move and I can see the games....here in Nashville they come on late and I have to be up early. Gotta record them when I want to see them.

And I really liked Vogel but he was a nice guy....we need somebody like Ham who can be serious and take players to task when need be.

His percentage is at least partially tied to that fact that he passes on bad shots and moves the ball instead. Have to get him more good shots, which probably isn't high (or high enough) on the list of priorities.

Please don’t take this the wrong way. You seem like a homebody. Nothing wrong with that. I am too. I’d rather hang at home with my wife. Nashville is wasted on people like us.

Idk....but 'Bron always gets up for the games vs the Cavs.
I was planning on going to that game since my wife and I will be living in LA for the next 3-6 months temporarily but we drive in that day and I don't think we will have time to make it. I will go to a Lakers game but it's too bad it won't be against Cleveland

Lol. Can't recall seeing NBA players do this directly with a reporter. Myles Turner like "Hey LA. Please come get me"

Yeah I have to think that is not allowed, but of course Silver has no backbone
