Hey @Mecca , listening to local radio this afternoon and the discussion focused on Jalen Williams. The subject became so who do we know to compare this guy to and what is his ceiling? In the end it was said the Thunder really think he can be a No 1 on an extremely good team. A more athletic Paul George was mentioned. My thoughts are I need to see more of him and that he should be pretty polished because of his age. I love what I’m seeing though. Thoughts?

Not a #1.

In a perfect world, he’d be a MONSTER #3.

But, I could totally see him as SGA #2, with Chet being #3.

Chet will not look to score as much.

I can see him being a skinny ass, Uber version of the Bucks Brook Lopez.

But, J Dub is a much harder comp.

So one of the local reporters asked the coach what it would mean to make the playoffs. He said as long as it happened along with everything else they want to accomplish the rest of the way it would be great. Then he goes on to say that they are not going to change what they are doing to accomplish it though. Something has happened, I mean they just let Shai play in a back to back. That was a pitiful performance organizationally last night, they win that game easy just by playing the right people at the right times.

As much as we don’t like it, because the playin/playoffs are within reach.

But, the best thing, long term, is to collect one more piece.

Chip is the goal.

Not a 1st round knockout.

Get another guy in the draft, or bundle picks in a trade.

Oh I agree, but people feel like if they were going to do it they should have done it all year. The talent just took over and got them a bit ahead of schedule, even without Chet.

All tied up after 3.
76-76.

No Randle apparently either.
I held out hope he'd be good to go for the 4th.....but it's not looking good.

Ok I have figured it out, the league has promised the Thunder Wembenman if they let the Lakers make the playoffs. I can live with that.
