It is funny how matter of fact you are.

More likely than not LeBron ends up elsewhere.

But for all these rebuilding teams with young cores, you need to land that difference maker in free agency before you have to pay your core.

And if they can’t get somebody younger?

Adding LBJ for a year or 2 would be a great move.

And you are foolish to think Presti would say no out of principle.

I get why people think it would make sense, but that doesn’t mean it makes sense. I could see KD before Lebron though.

Yeah that’s it lol. If you know anything about me it should be that I’m as practical as they come. Relying on a 40 year old who is going to expect the keys is not practical in any way.

Just saying, these guys are competitors.

We see small conflicts that play out get overblown in the media.

Very easy for professionals to squash that stuff once they team up.

KD would be an awesome addition. And definitely a possibility.

I could see just about as many reasons to do it as not to.

On the one hand, assuming Lebron is still able to play at the level he has been...it could be a great opportunity to really speed up the learning curve of your young'uns, getting them deep playoff runs earlier. Lebron has gotten his teams to at least a finals trip at every stop.

On the other hand, whether it's his fault or not, where Lebron goes, drama follows, and those kids seem to have great chemistry. I don't think Presti would want to risk messing that up.

Also, who knows if Lebron would even be interested? He didn't like playing with young players even when he was a young player. Even though the Lakers did get younger at the trade deadline, all of those players have more experience than the Thunder.

End of the day, Presti will do what he feels is best for the team and based on what he's done so far, he'll be right.
