I’m watching the Lowe podcast and they are talking about Durant in Phoenix.

Guess my brain doesn’t have a split screen.

But, I have a question?

If Durant can’t win in the Valley, does it affect his legacy?

I mean….

Couldn’t win with a great OKC roster……yes, Westbrook was a issue even then.

Couldn’t win in Brooklyn with 2 other Stars…..yes, injuries, Kyrie = crazy, Harden quit, Nash was booty.

If he doesn’t win again, and his only 2 chips are because he stacked the deck, I still have him top 15.

But, he won’t breach my top 10 off all time.

Nope.

…..and he could be passed by Giannis.

Giannis could definitely pass him.

Eye test says he is top 10.

But his resume is lacking.

1 MVP, 2 rings and as you said, he has played with talent his whole career.

I think KD lacks some of the intangibles that guys like Curry, Bird, etc have.

No way Curry should be higher than KD based on talent. But the resumes aren’t particularly close.

And if we are being honest, KD should probably be top 5 based on his talent and his skill level.
