The prize would be Maxey but they would likely need Harris’ expiring contract to make the money work.

Heat should really consider that, although long term salary wise it’s not much savings when they gotta pay maxey right as Harris expires

But they’d have two huge expiring deals to make trades with

Ideally they pull a first from Philly as well

Before this gets too carried away, the Miami Heat are not going to trade Butler for 12 2nd round picks and an overpaid washed up something.

Our catcher in college also played mlb

My childhood best friend’s dad played lb and URI and thought I was born to play mlb but no one else did. Lol

One of the receivers on that team, Stephone Paige, made it to the NFL. He even held the record for single game receiving yards until Flipper Anderson broke it.

He and I were the same size, thus proving my DL coach right.

@Black Adam might remember him, he played for the Chiefs from 1983-1992.

I would think Philly would (should) be willing to deal any eligible firsts or seconds that could be sent. It may just be the one they can deal. They should remove any protections on the pick. If it doesn’t work this year and they’re facing a possible Harden walk and Embiid asking out, going for a disgruntled Jimmy may be the best way to avoid starting over.

True.

That makes next year your last best shot

I mean it already is.

But with butler and harden’s ages and your stack of contracts expiring summer 2024, you have that one shot at it

Thunder should be a team primed to add that disgruntled star type guy. They have more picks than they could possibly use and now the core is rounding into form. It’s likely that there could be 3-4 of those guns.

Yep. It’s getting late on the Embiid window. We’ve already discussed the other alternative which is the other extreme. Let Harden walk, trade Embiid for picks and a player around Maxey and start over.

Gonna have steak sandwiches on pretzel buns for dinner.
After the wife and her sisters left.....I took a shower and went to La Parrilla. Had chips, salsa and this bomb ass beef queso dip. Ordered 3
steak tacos.

Made sure to look out for pedestrians so I didn not hit them with the SUV.

Interesting. I see both he and Chet as the same Big that wants to play away from the basket. I see them both as 4s.

Pat Riley never traded his best player and not going to start now. Supporting cast is the issue and they will find a way to address that.

If anyone gets traded, it is Herro with multiple 1st

Okc back in the hunt @thunderc

Awesome, we got ground to make up. I posted it the other day but I will again. Had the Thunder had a 5 game win streak coming out of the break instead of a 5 game losing streak they would now be the 4 seed. That’s insane. I don’t expect the Thunder to make that kind of run but because no one is it’s possible for someone to do it still.
