For all the lebron detractors....the question of what Larry bird could have been without his back issues is answered and then some. Larry bird had to play the way he did because he lacked the physical attributes lebron has. Larry bird is a god but he will always end up with his body broken and beaten because that insane reckless abandon is part of what made him great. Lebron has all that and has the physical attributes that allow him to do those things without destroying his body. So the answer to the question, what could Larry bird have been if he stayed healthy (impossible) is answered in lebron.
I bet it had something to do with perhaps a dis, or a shot at Ja...so if that was the case, then maybe he made the right choice by holding back.
