It could be that they just need to adjust, but I'm not sure they can.

It seems like the point of getting Russ was because they lack a point guard to run the offense. The problem is, Russ isn't the point guard that should be running the offense because he needs the ball too much.

The Clips just need a point guard to bring the ball up and set up Kawhi and PG. Russ ain't that guy.

Can't blame everything on russ though. The Denver game is a perfect example of this. He didn't play the entire 4th or OT and they still didn't find a way to pull it out

Last night they get outscored by 26 in the 3rd. There is a lot more to their struggles.

Not blaming it all on Russ. He just doesn't do much that contributes to winning. He is who he is. He's an amazingly gifted athlete who can't adjust to fit into a scheme that isn't centered around him.

It's on the Lakers and now the Clippers for thinking they could find a way for him to fit.

But it's also on him for not doing what is necessary to adjust his game.

He belongs on a team where he can be the lone star or have a guy like Beal where he can just do his thing and lead the team to a low playoff seed.
