Ham is just stupid. Bamba absolutely should be playing, especially with AD now having to carry more of the burden with Lebron out. Gabriel should not be getting many minutes on this roster anymore. He played on the old roster because he was one of very very few that actually played with energy to mask lack of talent. But we don't need energy now. We've got talent. I'm not saying Bamba is great. But he's very capable backup center capable of putting up low figure double doubles.
This.

Draymond was legit tonight, great defense, 12/9/8

Brett Brown was not a good coach.

I also don’t think it is fair to compare Simmons now to Simmons from 3 years ago.

So much baggage there. Lots of things have happened that have led to him being a shell of himself.

Brett Brown just happened to coach him before all the shit went down.

Spurs should still take on Ben

Perfect no risk reclamation project for them

Lakers bench - 53 pts
Grizzlies bench - 25 pts.

Memphis won 121-109
AD did all he could for LA.

LA hung around pretty deep into the game, even with that 3rd quarter explosion, vs the #2 seed and without 2 of their top 3 scorers. Expectations were a loss, but it looked rosy for a while. I'll take the effort (for the most part; Schroder get benched at one point for pouting after a turnover), even if it didn't result in a win.

It's amazing that such a physical team like the Grizz can still get touch fouls called on offense. Ja gets a lot of and-ones that go uncalled for bigger players.

He might be the worst basketball player in the league

Absolutely not. He may be the worst projected player in the league. He could be a Draymond type, but everyone kept trying to make him Magic or Lebron and now he's mentally broken. If he ever gets bought out (or in 2025) he could be a worthwhile reclamation project, but at his current salary that's a tough roster fit.

So i guess Bamba was brought in to be an end of the bench guy or he just isn't good?

Played 38 total minutes his first 2 games with the Lakers but only played 7 the last 2 games

Gabriel got the nod over him tonight

Ham's rotations have been an issue all season. Heavy minutes for AD and Vando will keep Bamba on the bench a lot. Gabriel's hustle was a good fit for the Lakers in the first half at least last night.

Bamba was a conspicuous absence last night. Gabriel should be depth behind Vando, or occasional use in a small ball lineup. Rui has become an odd fit with this lineup, hovering between SF and PF. Just as the Lakers were sorting things out, Lebron and Russell miss games.

Looks like there's a chance D-Lo could go tonight, but Friday is apparently more likely.

Lol, all this talk about guys going for 60.

There no defense in this league, what an achievement.

The 3 is everything, making anyone an all star

The 3 is now a set shot.

That shit would have been smacked into the 5th row the last time basketball was real!

Cmon man…
